- My NEW 2024 Tesla Model 3 long range broke not even a month into owning it! I was having technical issues with the windshield and the door. So today we are bringing it back to the Tesla Service Center to get it fixed hopefully. Enjoy my tesla service experience vlog! I bought a 2024 Tesla Model 3 as my first car! After doing a lot of research, I really don't think you should have bought a Tesla. It is next to last in the list of Most Reliable Vehicles. Lexus and Toyota and Mazda are the top reliable vehicles. I'm seeing TH-cam after TH-cam of the costs they spent after 1-3 years owning a Tesla and the number is staggering. Now, the 2024s MIGHT be better but it can't be that much better if it was almost dead last...last year. You want a car that isn't going to cost you a ton in maintenance costs getting nickle and dimed for every little thing. Something to think about.
From someone that has owned 3 Teslas now, one thing is consistent. The quality control from the factory is pretty bad. They're just trying to pump out cars as fast as possible, and feel like they just expect the service centers to fix any issues prior to a customer delivery. That never happens. So you get your car and the first month is the "find the quirks and issues" period, Tesla service fixes (hopefully) all the issues, then its typically smooth sailing from there. Been the case with every Tesla I've bought. Hopefully it's the same for you. Its annoying and shouldnt be that way, but kinda is what it is.
I would have just got my money back and gotten a better car. Sorry, JoJo. That car will cause you nothing but grief.

I’m surprised that the dealership didn’t wash the car for you. Every time I take my Buick enclave to the dealer they run it through the car wash before giving it back.
The quality of the older models is much better than the new models. Way less issues and just made better. I’ve had mine since 2019 and haven’t had one problem.
Buddy you need to use touchless car wash not the ones with those brushes. That can scratch the paint
Never go to those kind of car washers with a Tesla.
Yep that soap is so bad for your car. You will start to see soap stains around the windows. Hand wash only!!!

Yes been to that same Tesla dealership on many occasions . lucky I live right by that one on 50 in Clermont. I do not have to go far. I hope they will improve Tesla vehicles I certainly do enjoy them also a ton of pros and CONS
JoJo, they better be nice! You paid cash for that car! The seller KNEW the problem before you drove the car off the lot. Period. Sorry I’m so upset, but had a friend who had all sorts of problems with his Tesla Good luck! Hope it works out!

JoJo, I’m not sure I would let those brush rollers touch your car. They can cause streaks in the paint. You need a brushless wash or someone hand wash it.

What you say at 17:00 is why I love following your channel!! You’re such a positive person! I’m so happy it only took a day for you to get Yoda fixed - you don’t know what you got til it’s gone! And at least they didn’t put you in their top of the line model so you would be tempted to upgrade haha
muh guy. so much more trusting than I lol. I appreciate the novelty of owning a Tesla - but to have those problems in the first month....I would treat it as a red flag to what could happen in 6 12 18 24 months etc. fingers crossed all is well ......and you need to go to touchless car washes..... brushes can scratch paint.
FYI It’s not great to solely charge via Supercharger. I don’t know if you have a RWD or LR model, but if the latter especially you’ll want to use lower powered charging at least some of the time if you have access to it. DC fast charging is meant more for road tripping than daily use.
hopefully it gets fixed soon , this isn't the first time i see and hear about tesla issues that could take a long long time to fix :/

You can adjust the settings in the Tesla menu for the breaks function on how it feels.
Still want to keep the car for 10 years? Sorry to say but Tesla sucks and resale values are plummeting. Try and sale it as soon as you can. I would recommend a Lexus, Toyota or Honda, truly reliable vehicles with good resale values.
I’m gonna miss Yoda but at least they gave you a loaner to use while they figure out what’s wrong

You should do some research on your car. And you would have 2 of those key cards. They come with them. I got 2 for mine.

Please find a touch less car wash. The brushes/flappers will damage the clear coat. Usually the dealer cleans the car after any repairs…hmm.
Hey JoJo, I'm glad it worked out with getting Yoda fixed. I consider my car as an extension of myself so, it's natural not to like a loaner. I wonder though if Yoda just wanted more attention 😂
Hell yah JoJo, when you buy a new car, you expect it to work like it should, not have to take it to the shop already!! They don’t even give you a n equivalent year for a loner!?! Geez!!
so far i am learning watching different videos on youtube is that most videos in which issues are presented are coming from north America. looks like that M3 Highland that is produced in The china tesla factory has alot less issues than those that are produced in the u.s.
This is the problem with totally removing anything mechanical from a car. Its not a straight forward fix!

My husband and I rented a Tesla in Orlando earlier this year and finally found a big bank of Tesla chargers at the mall not far from the airport.

My 24 Model 3 AWD had to be serviced the first week. It would not accept non-Tesla chargers. Overall though I love the car so far. Did the car wash give your car paint swirls? I've been hesitant to try that.

hey jojo sorry for your tesla, my mother has a 2012 kia, while we were in new jersey back in last june, because we were visiting our cousins for our cousin's birthday and that's when one of our other cousin said that her car got hit by a teen or an adult.
so than she got a new car and it got hit after i got home from work last year or this year going to storage or to the store and we got a new car which is brand new.

Hand wash only bro. Those car washes do more damage than good and create swirl marks on your vehicle. Being in the car wash business for over 20 years ive seen ym fair share of damage from taking cars into car washes like this. Best bet is to hand wash yourself

The build quality is sub par. Tesla's advantage is over. Now all the other manufactures who have been building high quality cars for decades have EV models now. Ford, GM, Toyota ect..

I hate to say I told you so, but JoJo, you should have taken that nasty car, back on the first day and demanded another car! The seller should have known the problem with the door! That is huge! You paid CASH for the car. Elon Musk is terrible with these cars! The automatic drive is a nothing feature! The car should fly!!!! They should give you a new car, not just fix your car. Ah well, you deserve all sorts of good stuff, as you have worked very hard for what you have. I love your vlogs, but am disgusted disappointed you would buy a Tesla. Ah well, I hope things work out.
