My parents bought that exact board for me a couple years ago, little did they know, I was practicing and had my brother buy me a new board(it was a way better board and I got it for like $200) and kept practicing on the better board. I can now confidently do a double kick flip.
My sister got the same skateboard, when she gave up on skateboarding I used it; it's the one I learned at lot on. I just built my first board a few days ago for $160.

My first board when i was a kid was a walmart, i knew it wasn't right. Did stuff on it sometimes but it hampered my progress and i ended up quitting until i was a young teen and got a free real board that i still use currently. Never skated it a whole lot though and i am just now getting into skating it at 21

@@M22847 a Walmart board is in no way the same as an actual decent one, if you tried them both you’d clearly see the difference. No need to spend loads on a branded deck just get a cheap one and some semi good trucks, it really goes a long way spending that little bit more in the beginning, cheap ones like this are alright for learning at first but it’s good to get a new one once you feel like it’s becoming a limiting factor
