I did see this video yesterday but have been overwhelmed with replying to people. Thank you for covering this along with posting the fundraiser it means the world. He was once deployed for over a month and proactively created an entire month's worth of videos. This was daily Vlogs on his NightmareRHonRS channel, 3 videos on his side channel per week, and 1 video on his main channel per week.
We only noticed about 3 weeks in when there was a big update and he had videos that showed pre-update footage, and then he came back and said that he was a Marine and had been deployed.

Yeah i am 30 years old and got diagnosed with bone cancer this year. Even though i am seemingly super healthy and fit which boggles my mind. I hope NightmareRH can be all good.

UC here. Keto low carbohydrate diets really do help a lot people with diseases and health conditions. Highly processed foods need to be either completely avoided or severely limited in their consumption.

Damn, my mom has PKD and she had to do dialysis for nearly a year while we waited for a kidney, tons of family tested to see if they were a match, none were. Thank God one of her friends from grade school took the test and she was a match and she was willing to give her a kidney. 15 years later they're both here and healthy!

@RichObiQuan kidneys are really weird, I was young but I come from a big family, 8 aunts and uncles and tons of cousins, and probably 15-20 family members tested and weren't a match.

My dad went through this and ended up getting a transplant from a kid who died on a quad, hes been doing great many years later and i beleive he'll live a full life thanks to that kid *fingers crossed*, Dialysis aint easy though, its a rought time and i was too young to understand at the time, hoping me and my brother wont get it but i probably wont have kids because i heard diseases can skip a generation.
Oda clicked thinking people were getting PK'D by NightmareRH, but turns out it's just NightmareRH getting PKD.

Years ago I was super depressed with a massive opiate addiction while still in highschool, no matter how bad the day was if I came home and seen nightmare do some wild stuff to a random PC it would instantly turn my day around. Doesn't make sense how the good always receive the worst....hopefully he stays around for a very very long time

Kidney disease can be a real sticky situation. His kidneys look horrific tbh. Fortunately for him, if he gets on a waiting list for a transplant, luckily it only takes betqeen 7-10 years on average to get a donar . Not saying it'd good it takes that long but good his doctors are finding it now and not when he's 45. As long as his kidneys keep functioning the way they are. And they don't start to slow down, then he should be fine. His real issue will be if his kidneys stop working fully and he starts to get jaundice (it causes the whites of your eyes to turn a yellow color, and your skin starts to turn a orange color. Because your kidneys aren't filtering out any of the toxins they end up starting to go into your blood and it eventually kills you.).
I will say this should be a real wake up call to all of us who see this video or know him. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF. No job, no game, nothing is worth your health. I truly do hope his kidneys keep on workin away and he gets a donar soon. I dont blame him for not doing dialysis. Its something he would have to do until his dying days and more often than he would now due to him getting older. Props to him for telling everyone though. I think we all get to consumed with life sometimes and sometimes we forget to take care of ourselves.

religion probably helped him since he would probably still be on garbage diet and life style and relying on dialysis to live (dialysis is draining and it wouldnt stop the rate of his kidney growth). he changed his way of living aka preventative medicine. weight, body fat, diet, exercise go a lot further than most people think. happy for him actually.
thankfully PDK isn't a death sentence in the modern age of medicine. I've seen lots of marines diagnosed with PKD from camp lejune - I'm sure he'll be around for a long time.

Dialysis is a very hard treatment to undergo. It’s ~3 days a week for 4-6 hours if I remember right. Typically that’s you going to sit in a clinic for all that time. I can understand not wanting to do that. I’m genuinely curious if he will walk back his stance if things get worse.
The most important part in this is. The dude is doing what he feels like, and what he feels like is right.
That is inspirational. Thats how a man should conduct himself.
