I don't really care about DC or Marvel, I just don't think marvel movies are that good or any super hero movie for that matter and when I see people say things like this guy, I just cringe
if Marvel truly is able to pull off Infinity War the way we all hope they can, it will truly be something unprecedented and incredibly noteworthy, all of the hard work they put into creating this cinematic universe for the last decade will simply be extraordinary - the MCU is like a tv show that's being played out instead on the big screen, all these phases are leading to the season finale essentially, and if they can land it with the emotional weight of the story and the execution of the plot and deliver Thanos as this world conquering force, then simply does it, no one can stand against the MCU for what they have created. this studio isn't always perfect sure, but the way they always keep their eyes on the game plan, on that ultimate goal, on that desire and confidence to deliver, it's something other studios can sure learn from. this company built itself out of nothing and changed the landscape of superhero films, it's truly something special.

my theory is that Hela the Asgardian Goddess of Death destroyed Thor's mjolnir with her magic, which makes him vulnerable. Maybe in the other planet, planet sakaar with hulk and Valkyrie, Thor actually won the matches against toughest dudes on the planet and the galaxy and rewarded with a jarnbjorn to fight the Hulk as his last opponent, they both made up and rebelled against the Grandmaster and tried to take Asgard back with the help of Valkyrie. Loki was offered help by Hela, they both sent Thor to the other planet, while he's there, Hela betrayed Loki and sent him and imprisoned him. Thor tried to sneak Loki out of Asgard and they went to find Odin back in NY, there, they met with Doctor Strange, so, Strange will help them find Odin and send them back to Asgard with his magic portal. Back on Asgard. Thor, Hulk, Valkyrie and perhaps Doctor Strange prepares to battle Hela and her army.
Marvel plan developed a whole new fan base...people grew up on these movies..even my kids. I was a comic reader and turned my kids on to these movies..and we all hooked.

Imagine the end of Infinity War part 1. Thanos comes, kills mostly EVERYONE, leaving people like Doctor Strange. He and a few escape from earth before Thanos just fucks it up, destroyed. It ends with 95% of our heroes DEAD. In part 2, Strange revives everyone but then Thanos kills some of them again, probably Captain America, permanently.
Other directors will be involved from the individual franchises to guide how their particular character would react in a situation while the Russos will direct the overall direction.
