Never lost the insert, but I've lost several of the bolts. the only one that hasn't departed after a while has been the factory original. I don't use locktite on them though, so there is that.
Isn’t funny how factory usually works best. Iv never used LT on my seat bolt before, I change seats to much when the wife rides with me. Thanks for the comment and watching👊🏻 Stay safe out there👊🏻
even more surprising than the miracle of that screw being there on the tailight bar is the fact that the seat tab didn't even scratch the paint with all that riding to work

I had the same problem, used a coat hanger. It was easy fishing up through the bottom. Ride on!
