Love the set! As a baby DJ, I’m trying to learn as much as I can, and I noticed that your track selection is really unique. I’ve been mixing by moving up or down one increment on the Camelot Wheel, but I can tell you don’t stick to that method and still make everything sound amazing. Could you share how you decide which tracks to mix together? Any tips for someone just starting out would mean a lot!
@@LevisCorner Hey! It's just a lot of playing! I dont really pick out the best songs, i just look for songs i like! Once you understant how songs are build up and the phrases work you can almost make any song work! I would recomend looking up a tutorial about phrasing!
@@Foxhole_official i did a set today you know trying to learn and i wish if i there is somehow to know my mistakes or find someone that can guide me through what im trying to do or give some tips if you have discord or if you would give it a listen see whats up ill be grateful and would really appreciate 😅🙏🏾
@@Leyon1505 i dont have discord but im working on a tutorial how to keep the flow in youre sets and eq when to drop the next track etc! if you have quastions you can hmu on foxhole.official on instagram!
i watched a lot of youtube, crossfader, dj carlos and club ready dj school. I would really recomend club ready! Lots of positive vibes and explains it really well!
not that much, it is nicer to have bigger jog wheels for the rest its exactly the same controller but 4 channel and diffrent effect knobs. In my opinion the effect knobs on the ddj400 are better. But if your thinking about it the bigger jog wheels and overall experience is nicer then a smaller controller. If you have more quastions hmu!
According to what criteria and how do you choose the music you will play, and where do you access these music selections? I would appreciate it if you could answer.
I don't really pick I just play the next one! but if I would make a set i would look for sounds that compliment each other so for example don't have 2 acid loops playing at the same time, and that the basss of the songs aren't to diffrent. I have all these songs from soundcloud!
He is meaning you don’t need to have the eq’s that low and fade it in, you could do one or the other, keep it simple, take out the low, trim the mid and high out a little then fade in and swap over, simple mixing, I have to say though I notice you use auto sync, don’t use that button, better yet take the button out, if you ever go on old cdjs or we’ve better vinyl you will struggle pal, learn to beat match properly and keep it in time
it's a convenience, I just use beatmatch to make the bpms the same. The rest I do myself. Don't see the point to use the slider only use that when playing vinyl
Insane Set. Criminal track selection mate. Super Inspired.
