So the slipping noise you're demonstrating there -- was that the chain jumping slightly? Because that's what I'm dealing with at the moment on my 400. The front chain guide is completely worn but the main thing I'm trying to figure out is why my tensioner adjustment nut is able to rotate both directions without snugging up and the blade itself has very little up or down movement. Trying to figure it out before I pop the head so I can have all the parts lying in wait..
My chain wasn't slipping on the sprockets, but the play in the chain was allowing it to suddenly jump forward when the tension was released. Hope this helps.
@@DavidGarside how's the bike going now? I watched your video on a fork oil change, with the trick with the bit of wood on the engine mount, I have the T model so there is no drain plug so bit of a hassle to change oil
@@DavidGarside good choice, personally i dont like new bikes that look old, but i saw lots around, and they sound nice aswell. bit of a upgrade from a 250, well especially the honda 250 lol
Yes, it's a 2015 model so quite modern. I've done the big bikes in the past (video on here of my GPZ900R and 1971 Triumph Daytona) so just wanted something I didn't have when I was younger. I thought I'd get it now before I'm too old to ride one lol.... might be my last chance and I'd only regret not doing it. 😁😁

I believe it's going well. I sold it recently to buy a Royal Enfield Bullet 500. I'm still in touch with the chap who bought it....he loves it.
