Day 2 Harpy Eagle Blind - Roy Toft

Professional wildlife photographer Roy Toft shares his experiences from 100 feet high up in a blind observing and photographing a wild Harpy eagle nest in the Amazon of Brazil. This video journal entry is from Day 2.
Roy's lofty blind was 50 meters directly across from a Harpy eagle nest in which one lone eagle baby was being cared for by its mother and father. He spent 10 consecutive days in the blind, climbing with ropes to enter the blind every morning before dawn and repelling down every evening after sunset.
