Not sure about other people, but I honestly don't think the Zorah fights should count for this challenge. They're drastically different from any other hunt you do.
Even if Zorah wasn't counted: You have to fight Vaal for the story and you can't enter his area without breaking through a barrier. Also, in order to board the boat to go fight Xeno, you have to talk to the Seeker. None of that can be done with weapon out.

@@matthewsimon6170 For me only Sonic Rush Adventure 2,Sonic Colors are REALLY good games and Sonic Adventure 2 has cool stages but the whole game is not a good game in my oppinion and I think we are not supposed to talk about Sonic and tge dark knight, Sonic 06 or something? xD
You can superman dive Xeno's laser but you gotta be closer to it. There's a distance limit on Superman dives that forces you to be closer to the monster!

This was beautiful. As a lance main I think about the potential of the dash attack pretty often and wonder what will interactions are there in Iceborne. You don't need to do a full run on Iceborne, but I would love to see just a brief analysis on what's the best strategy for a dash lance run with the Iceborne new skills.

This one is for the gunlance but... *"Can you beat [Monster Hunter Game] by only shelling?"* Rules are fairly simple ya only hurt monsters via gunlance shelling. I kinda did it on a certain game and would like to see if you could try it!
Why would you block off Siege Weapons? I blocking off everything aside from the Charge should mean blocking off the Slinger, that means Flash Pods. So why Siege Weapons on Zorah? Bind Shot is still siege weaponry, I say canons and ballistas are entirely legal for a Charge Only run. You still need to drill de cores only with charging and have to deal with Raphinos and the like, but you SHOULD be able to canon Zorah, at least.
me, who's used the lance for 1 thousand plus hunts : hmm, i'm gonna watch this even though i know how this will end up also, some notes for people who want to try this challenge or whatever The rules don't state against blocking, so using something such as powerguard -> lance charge is perfectly fine. Use powerguard before the unblockable attacks (Teostra nova, or Xeno'jiiva laser beam) in order to block them. Guard skill is important, as it reduces chip damage and enables you to keep more stamina. The better build for a lance charge would have an elemental focus, due to the lance charge doing repeated small amounts of damage.
I recommend you to fully upgrade a Rathian charge blade because it will be really good once you fully upgrade it in iceborne master rank so you would not have to go back in high rank to get materials

Just Thought I'd Help With That Part To Make It Possible For You.
I hate these "Is it possible to beat x by only (type of way to deal damage/type of way to play)". Most of the time, if [type of action] deals damage/allows you to play the game -> Yes. It's possible.* *It may or may not be tedious. Certain games where a different action is required to get through an area/boss/enemy may make it impossible, in which case, the answer is a clear no, unless there is a work-around method using only the required action.

Striker lance charge was so op in MHG. You can literally stun lock a monster to death by lance charging them over and over and over again.
This challenge just makes me want to see TDS do a speed run with only still-drilling

Why didn’t you use the finishing thrust charge move with the lance? It’s tachnically part of a lance charge and does the most damage while charging.
