Moth forewings is straighter and
Butterfly forewings is narrow (?)
Moth have larger body
And hairy antennae
Butterfly is thinner and have no hairy antennae
Butterfly wings pattern is more colorful than moth
Butterfly have thin and longer legs moth have shorter (& hairy)
Butterfly flip their wing vertical
Moth does not flip their wings like butterfly but covers their abdomen and other body parts
The head of butterfly can be seen easily and the head of moth is more hide
Largest moth is atlas moth and largest butterfly is queen alexandra birdwing butterfly
