Many thanks for that nice mention, yes had a really great day out, I decided to follow your advised route through Kendal and out on the A6 over Shap then on past Penrith and up the Hartside Pass, the views were stunning, my new eyes now in full focus, just an ice cream van at the top, the atmosphere has gone from there, we also had 2 bikers off the road being attended to by the police. I must mention the Crown Inn in Shap, stopped for a really good breakfast and tea, well worth the experience, it was like walking into the 1950's, nice arger fire to warm you up after the cold descent of the Shap summit. Have never seen the Langden Grill Food Truck, it has always been a smaller white van, the bikers are really growing in numbers there which is nice to see. I can't imagine any better social distancing than a rider on a motorcycle, we should be exempt from lockdowns, and as for sheep, I like mine with mint sauce !! The time you take producing and editing the videos is very much appreciated by all who watch and subscribe, it's your show and your the boss.
There are Black sheep, Brown sheep and white sheep. Plus if the detractors saw the Aussie merino sheep they would probably object to the colour of the protective coats they are fitted with to protect their wool. Hi must try that burger van. Went past it sunday afternoon heading to gisburn we had rain that morning in skipton came across country to arnside clear blue skies and 22 degrees there.

Another great vid! Looked like a good breakfast too. Don’t be too disheartened by the negative comments, there’s a lot of mental health issues and some people think too rigidly and fluidly. Social media is a great avenue for soothing for those people. Try to think of it, that you’ve helped someone feel better and it’s not personal. Keep up the great rides and blogs. 👍👍
ha ha - it's that Caterham owner from Derbys. Sadly not me heading the opposite way - but they were Caterham's ....you're learning :). PS - thought the Insta 360 side mounted gave a strange looking view. Almost looked unreal. Great vid and liked the road into FoB
As you may have seen I use my top box touring also a Oxford Aqua 30lt roll top water proof bag on back seat. Prefer over panniers when touring single rider.
I think new Lancashire lockdown rules starts Tuesday, I've given up with the BBC and Sky News .. not news nowadays, just the media's opinions ! I've ridden the Trough of Bowland hundreds of times but only stopped at that burger van once several years ago and found a piece of bone in my bacon butty so never stopped since., hopefully this is a different guy so may go again sometime 🙂

I follow because I would like to be able to ride in these beautiful areas but never get the time to come up. It's a long way. So your rides enable me to ride, see and enjoy the scenery of Cumbria and the Lakes vicariously. Also you don't ride like a lunatic as demonstrated by the bikers that passed you. YT is both a blessing and a curse. Great you are showing these routes but inevitably it will mean more bikes on them and likely that quite a few riders will be riding at suicidal speeds or making dangerous manoeuvres meaning they come off when they lose control, but this obviously isn't your fault. You can't fix stoooopidddd! Not a fan of 360 cameras as they distort the image too much. I think with Go-Pro now on their 9th incarnation of their Hero camera they should have got things right by now, so shall be interested to see your results from that. I had a Go-Pro her 6 which I never got on with especially the huge external mic adapter (£50) you had to buy just to use an external mic. The Osmo Action footage looks good. The more cameras you have the more editing? Will make your job of getting videos out even longer, but great results. Have you reduced the background noise in your films of your bike's exhaust as I remember some time back you were looking for a mic set up that would capture the harmonious sounds of it? Only now the exhaust sounds very muted/non existent. Not wanting it to blow the eardrums just a little louder in your videos. Since Shaun the Sheep my impression of sheep has changed totally. Thanks Alex, yes lots of cams out there so much to choose from depend I guess what people use for. Re exhaust note, I used to use a second mic off same camera hidden in my jacket that picked up bike noise, will pop it back if you like no issues 👍 think it’s better too.cheers and have a good week.
