Me and a mate did a lot of these roads on Thursday, we came down from Teesside to Pendle Hill, then into Bowland from Clitheroe, heading towards Jubilee Tower. Knew I'd seen these roads before. Northern England has amazing scenery and riding routes!
@@MOTOUK1 absolutely, had the vents open for the 1st time since last year, summer has finally arrived! Will definitely be coming back for more stunning roads in Bowland.
Got to thank you for this route. We came up from the Wigan area today today. Headed to The Inn at Whitewell then Dunsop Bridge then followed your route. Absolutely stunning, thank you so much for sharing & giving us the inspiration to try this route. 👍
Love riding this area, just a bit far for me on a day ride. Mrs and I made it up and around the Hawes area last weekend with an overnight stop at the Hard Force Waterfall Hotel Middleton in Teesdale.
Love watching all of your videos , as I am local to Lancaster aswell it gives me plenty of ideas and what roads to take and places to go after watching them thank you and ride safe 👍
Been looking at the map and the trough of bowland etc. Great area. I'm after some local info do you know if the gated public road at the end of Roeburndale road gives access to Hornsby road through haylot farm? Can't see on maps if it does! Any help would be much appreciated 👍
Looking forward to giving it a go as not a thing I’ve tried much. Getting my 10 within the next few days or so. Coming from a 2016 GS but had a S1000XR before that so used to powerful motors....I hope 😉
You won’t have to try hard, just get used to the bike first, it’ll try to lift the front under heavy gave adds to the fun factor. TC3 won’t let it lift but TC2 will to a degree.
Depends how you ride, I normally fill up around 120 - 130miles with some in reserve. The thing you have to remember is that it’s a naked sport bike. 😂👍
Funny - I've lived in Lancashire for over 50 years, and although I've never actually heard anyone say the name of the hamlet, I always assumed it was pronounced as spelled - Whitewell, with the 't'. Sounded funny to me as Whitwell 🤔. There again, there's three Claughtons in Lancashire - one Claughton, one Clafton and one Clayton - so who knows ☺.

Yes it is Gary the F1R carbon look, I still have the cat in place but it’s a nice deep tone loud enough for me 😂👍🏍
iam doing the same keeping cat in place, just want bit more noise, but not too loud, thanks for your feedback motouk, love sunday rides series,
@05:21 literally less than 700m after this point I crashed my bike on ice in January 2018, coming the opposite way
No way, hope your back on two wheel 👍🏍
Can I ask you in which mode are you in when you pull wheelies. Are they just on the throttle or do you use the clutch to assist.
Hi John, power 2 , TCS 2 and yes about 5,500 rpm bang throttle open in 1st,2nd and up she comes

MOTOUK From what you’ve said I should eek out about 150 with a bit spare in the tank. That’ll do me fine if that’s the case
