@@tevincoley7970 he most definitely has a shot at the 200 record. He has the top end speed and endurance to do it. That 100m record is outta the question for em, cause I don't think his start is good enough. And you can't take a 100m time and assume what they'd do at 200 because those are COMPLETELY different races. I ran both in HS, 10.7 in the 100 and 21.8 in the 200m, not the greatest times, but I was satisfied with both. The 100 was rather easy because I had a quick reaction to the gun, but that 200m was a different animal because you had to have great endurance to maintain that top end speed for awhole lot longer.

Bolt is actually a freak who is to tall to be able to run at the speed that he did (he had genetic advantages and built his body to be better at other areas).
To be fair, people have started to say that height doesn't matter - because of bolt - but to say you need to be "taller" is just plain wrong.
I mean you don't even need to be a sprinting fan to know this crazy, just look at the line up at Bolt's 2009 100m race.
He stands out, and it's not because of his fame, it's because he literally stands taller than everyone else.

There is a reason why you don't mention Noah's times so everyone sees how ridiculous your question is...Noah is a great sprinter but just as anybody else in this bracket he is nowhere close to Bolt's times. The only one who has ever been close to Bolt was Blake and that's in 100m only.

I have heard that the fastest 100 meter run ever recorded was one half of one of Usain Bolt’s 200M runs , so how does that work ?
Because 2nd half of race you already near full speed (not starting from the block). Fastest 100m ever run will be one of the 4x100m relay splits , something around 8.7s, however these are with a running start so obviously won’t count
