One scene that I especially love is when Fiona tells her parents that she’s going to look for Shrek and they’ll go back to the swamp. Even if it means not having the acceptance of her parents or anyone else, she chooses to stay with Shrek because she loves him. This isn’t an act of impulse due to anger or sorrow, Fiona thought long and hard and chooses love over acceptance. This movie proved how much Shrek and Fiona love each other. He chose to give up being an Ogre for her and she chose to be with him when her parents don’t want her to.
The tension, music, and cinematography were all just... MMMMMMHHHH in this scene, and I think you did an awesome job telling it like it is! Also Copyright just sucks. I feel your pain, man.
One thing about the plot hole over how they got to far far away is fast by the way, my friend said that there were more fairytale creatures in shrek 1 and even at the end of shrek 2 that could have helped them get there faster! They had off screen resources... but Shrek and Fiona took their honeymoon carriage to be more traditional.
I feel like it's unfair to say Lillian wasn't accepting... discrediting her arguements is a huge misreading. She's appalled by her husband's hypocrisy!! She is confused but trusts her daughter. She breaks the silence to be curious about her son in law! Justice for Queen Lillian... she doesn't LOVE Shrek, but she LOVES HER DAUGHTERRRRR it's so important to note that I feel like! She's willing to grow to love him!
Just wanted to point out that the chinese animals in kung fu panda celebrate christmas a christian holiday in China. Also this means that Jesus is a canon character in the dreamworks universe
@@TheAnimationologist The Dreamworks lore is quite intresting. Also the Shrek and HTTYD cast do the same thing. The Mort theory is so complex that Jesus is now apart of it. Also Jedahisim is also apart of the lore, since every character in All Hail king Julian is Jewish and the Prince of Egypt exist so god himself is in the lore. Also Santa is literally in a Madagascar short and the Shrek christmas special

it's not a mort theory but it's still a good analysis of the best shrek movie( imo)
