Thanks! We used a company out of New York for the music - they also soundtracked our Regent videos. The French balcony suited us just fine. We were barely in our cabin, so I don’t think we would have used a more traditional balcony anymore than we used this one. It was nice to be over water level and have the chance to get some fresh air, so we’d choose this one again. Thanks for your continued support of our channel!
Thank you so much! There are so many options for seeing the world and we come from the philosophy that we can't knock an option until we try it. And we try to find at least one positive with every cruise we take, even if it is not the line for us. Thank you for your continued support - we appreciate it!
Your video is packed with fascinating detail. We weren't aware of how large the river ship fleet was, or that there was so much standardisation of design. The cabin is indeed compact, but its perfectly fine given that people probably chose this type of cruise to be an opportunity to explorer ashore a lot of the time, or be on the open deck enjoying the views.
Yes, it is amazing how many ships Viking has in their river fleet - they seem to own those rivers. And you’re right, while small, the cabin was a perfect size. We were in it to sleep, as we often spent so much time in the cities or in the lounges and decks. Thanks for watching!
Very good video; thank you for the detail when filming (ie, not rushing the video - makes it easier to wind back and look). Can you please comment on the space under the bed for storing luggage (or did you store your luggage elsewhere)? Thank you.
Thank you so much for your lovely comment! As for the underbed storage, Andrew had a large duffel-roller so he was fine. I had a larger case that had to go in the closet. If I had packed more lightly, I would’ve been fine.
@@JohnSmikahl thank you so much, we really appreciate it. We’re a bit delayed, but we will have a few more Viking videos coming out - so please subscribe if you haven’t already. Thanks so much for watching!
Love your background music in this video. How did you find the French balcony?

Loved seeing the inside of the viking river cruise. So many cruising options to see the world. Love the mix you have on your channel!

@@callingallports Thank you. I am sharing your video as we're traveling in Sept on Viking and your video answers so many questions.
