    This video was nice and informative! I’m getting fitted for loupes this upcoming Monday so I’ve been doing some TH-cam research. My school suggested us to get the q-optics so I’m happy to hear that you like them!

      Just keep in mind that too much of the angle of declination will make the Loupe uncomfortable and also seeing a half arch with the 3x magnification is not good at all. Check out ILLUCO USA loupes. they have 12 cm of field of view on their 3.5X Galilean TTL Loupes with no distortion and you can see the whole arch

    D1 student here with no knowledge about loupes. When I heard Designs for "view" I was like oh yahhh that's the ones we got from school.

    How about Univet loupes?

    • @SmilesforYoo
      @SmilesforYoo  ปีที่แล้ว

      I hear a lot of great things about Univet loupes! However, I still stick with oroscoptic or qoptics. I've had the best experiences with them. Not saying Univet loupes are below quality, just havent had enough experience with them to give you an accurate reply. Even still, I hear a LOT of great things about them from my colleagues!

    I scrolled down and a year ago you said, "I have! It's sort of a craze in the dental world right now with a lot of mixed reviews. Can't wait to try my friends but havent yet", have you heard any new feedback from your friends?

    • @SmilesforYoo
      @SmilesforYoo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I hear it takes some getting used to. There are some things in dentistry that requires a little bit of bad ergo. Like when you're searching around for an implant abutment via open tray technique. This of course, is different from provider to provider of course. I think designs for vision has a lengthy return policy that allows people to try them out!

    Have you used any ergo loupes like admetec or hero loupes? I'm looking at these same Q optics and while they also have an ergo version of these loupes I like that these have the optics on the lower half of the lens so you can still see forward without needing to use the loupes for surgery. Have you found this useful?

    Hi Yoo, I saw a video that says the declination angle needs to be >= 40 for the loupe to be effective with helping with the posture. Would you concur with that?

    Hi, did you have to specifically request that they drop the angle of declination way down or did you go with what they measured you as for Q-Optics?

    • @SmilesforYoo
      @SmilesforYoo  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello! Great Question! That is already built into the Q-Optics Loupes for the TruFit. If you're looking to adjust your angle of declination even more, there are flip up/flip down loupes you could get.
