I started to look at these flametoys releases differently... to my opinion I cannot justify the price difference of a gundam perfect grade (albeit you have build it yourself).

Don Figueroa's B2 Bomber Megatron is underrated, and so far, the current Alex Milne's Megatron *STILL* doesn't have a vehicle mode.
I ordered the Generation Toys Tyrant Megs of this one.
The one thing I like about Megatron over Prime. He's more design friendly. Gun, Tank, Jet.
Prime... A truck..always.
So, I don't have a place for this, but whatever it costs, it looks like it is well worth the money, really well done.
I agree this flame toys are very good action figures but for the price they are charging they have to be even better, at least in my opinion. Limited range in the arms, legs, ab crunch and feet for an action figure of this price range aren't something I can forgive. These aren't limited and numbered these are mass produced action figures of the highest end so there should be no room for a single ball drop.
I like this one but it's not the Megatron I want, up until now there wasn't a single release, not for the price point they charge, that motivated me to buy a Kuro Kara Kuri Transformer. For this kind of money it needs to be a character and a design that I really love.

Ok but is this a good choice for my possible flame toys buy, or who should I pick over him if not? I really really like all the accessories so that's kind of why I want this boy here.
The gun alt mode of Megatron as an accessory has a place in the comics. Shockwave used Megatrons body to make several pistols and gave them to humans to disrupt what the autobots were doing on earth.
Great figure though!

Great review! Also I think you can attach a gun and two wing pieces to his forearm to create the classic arm cannon look.
These are just in a class all their own, damn. All the engineering involved in this is insane, its jaw dropping. The accessories and how they integrate and work with everything else, and the thought that went into all of that, just wow. Who gives a crap about transforming when its got more moving pieces then an actual stealth bomber!! Every time I see you review one I realize the price is actually a steal for everything you end up with.
I’ve never seen a more gundamized transformer as this one is. It’s awesome.

I really wanted the Dark Star Saber from Flame Toys, but I missed out on its initial pre-order... So this Megatron will be my first entry into the Flame Toys world. I have this figure and their upcoming Shattered Glass Optimus on pre-order and I'm really looking forward to getting both of those figures.
Wasn't sure where to ask, but does anyone know the typical dimensions of the base of the stand for these figures?
This is dope but I don't know why they didn't go with his MTMTE or Lost Light incarnation.
I think that you should collect more flame toys stuff, I think it suits your tastes better.
Great looking figure, they have outdone themselves yet again. I don’t have any connection with the character though so will pass on this. What I’m waiting for is their Starscream and I hope they upgrade their model kit Origins Megatron to this level, then I’m all in.

So does Flame Toys do model kits or are these prebuilt figures? I think one listing for this Megatron had it as a model kit, either way it looks sick as hell and I would buy it if I had the money
This one belongs to the Kuro Kara Kuri line that are high end hyper articulated action figures. They also make model kits in the Furai line (probably the one you saw).
