what's so crazy about the Dave Grohl thing is there's this clip that's resurfaced where he tells this story of him and Taylor being at Paul McCartney's house and Paul suggested that Dave get up and sing something. He was too nervous to so Taylor got on the piano and sang a Foo Fighters song!!! so Dave knows that Taylor can sing live AND play an instrument!!!!

Does anyone else feel like the vibe at Taylor’s concerts get amplified when Travis is there? The crowds are always amazing but it just hits a little different when Travis is there for me.

The people who say it's 'cringe' are like the Taylor Swift fan versions of the NFL fans who are SO MAD that she appears on a tv camera at his games for 10 seconds. I thought it was cute just like I think it's cute they show her for a grand total of 20 seconds during a 4 hour game.

I’d say there were many more Swifties trying to ‘remind’ others to just leave her alone, or even outright defending-especially at first. I don’t doubt that lots of awful things were said and of course it’s impossible to control the extremes of stan Twitter, etc… but at a certain point it’s also her responsibility to stop feeding the attention and simply walk away. Whether you’re a fan or not, I think if everyone went to a Taylor show, the world could be slightly better. There’s so much joy in her shows and she knows how to control an audience. One aspect of why Dave might have been taking a hit at Taylor by saying that live comment or having her wrath (her saving her voice by having back tracks recorded that she can sing OVER if she wants, when singing 3 1/2 hour shows). Might be because a while back his daughter was on social media and critisized her Jet emissions (private jet usage) and also had some interaction with AI pic posts of Taylor being sexually portrayed. A trail of Swifties attacked, bullied and went off on her for that. And threw back at her how her Dad also flies private and so on. And I would guess that he felt it was really awful how Taylor’s fans did that online, and perhaps asked Taylor to make a statement like ”please stop, I am not standing for this behavior” or expected that from her as a collegue. And when she was just quiet, Dave got mad. Just a thought what might be the trigger. Bevause why even mention otherwise that a 3 1/2 hour long pop concert, have some parts with back tracks that she sings over. It is rather common after all. With that long concerts that play often 3 days in a row. It is so unlike him somehow. So it felt personal if he said that.

Dave Clearly is pissed that he used to Fill Stadiums like Wembley , playing Live for the entire Concert , and Now his Crowds are not so Big Anymore because of the Taylor Swift Effect . Hard Rock just isn't as popular as Taylor's Music that ain't so Melody driven as Foo Foghters songs are . Hard Rock and Metal Acts are concerned her Music will be the only Music that draws Fans anymore . Dave plays every song he has Live with his Band . That's what he is referring to . Taylor clearly doesn't play 45 Songs live Acoustically or Electrically with just her Live Band . She has Pre-Recorded songs on Computer she sings along to for about 3/4s of the Concert . Dave is real close to Paul McCartney . Dave was probably not happy so many Celebs like Paul showed up to her Concert .
Taylor’s band is literally set up and playing side stage the entire time, even if they aren’t being featured center stage bc there’s a ton of choreo happening. They are literally there playing live the entire time. It’s hard to be informed about a concert you’ve never been to eh?
Taylor plays live and has a live band playing in the back and backup singers. She doesn't lip sinc to any of her songs. You guys talking smack really need to get your facts straight

No one is denying she has a Live Band at the Eras Tour . But she doesn't use them for the Entire Show . She has Computers playing the songs she sings for about 3/4s of the Concert . Most Other Pop Artists do too . That's just facts . Now if Taylor played 45 Songs Acoustically or Electrically on Guitar and Piano for 3 and half Hours then it would be a Different Story.

What you do see though if you actually go to her show is her band playing the entire time while her vocalists are singing the entire time. She has also cut out of singing to say something during her “pop”, fast songs. She has done several note changes on every song and has even coughed mid song for some of them when she’s sick. The narrative of her lip synching for some of her show whilst there being no proof of this is becoming exhausting.
It is not strange that Tom Cruise was not anywhere near Suri’s graduation. In Scientology if family remove themselves from the ”religion” it often means the ones that stay, cut ties, even see them as undesirables/no longer family. And to be fair to Katie, she might really have put in the divorce that probably had ”she can not reveal ANYTHING abt Tom or Scientology” that he signed away all custody to her. And both his kids from the marriage with Kidman, have NO relationship with her since their divorce either, because they stayed in Scientology. So I see this as ”normal” if Scientology is involved.

That was very uncharacteristic of Dave and it was disappointing to see and hear, I agree. It’s like another bitter misogynistic male taking a shot at Taylor - the biggest artist out there right now, male or female - and you just hate that it came from Dave bc he’s always been dubbed a nice guy like Noah said, so it stinks.
I also appreciate what Ria said about his catalog and what I would assume to be ignorant kids/young adults who knw nothing about Dave Grohl’s decades in music beginning in iconic Nirvana questioning his ability to see out as if his band is some random band without big fandom lol like typical stan-speak.
