    Rodney King did one of the best series on “no glove boxing” for the street for SBG back in the early 2000’s. Great material. Very thorough.

    This is excellent demonstration of cover blocks. What do you think of 'Dracula's Cape' block (in Rory Miller's books)?

    Very good video. I've found it common in my training that some of my coaches, with combat sports backgrounds (and not combatives), are big proponents of the "sport type block" mentioned in this video. I tell them the same thing that Ajarn Buck says, that without the gloves, that block won't work so well. Their reasoning is to keep the body more protected, as the "half triangle" block exposes the body to shots more, but there's always a give and take. I teach the "half triangle" style block as our primary option because protecting the head is our number 1 concern. - Shannon, Chief Instructor - Nomad Krav Maga

    Great work, I also use Muay Thai blocks. I'm also a 52 blocks fighter that helps with "street blocks" lol thxs again
