    Just bought one. This is excellent. I had my local dealer install a fuse block in my mule. They used the Kawasaki OEM, what an overpriced piece of junk. I am so sorry I spent the $400 to buy it through Honda East Toledo. I bought a second fuse box for rear Accessories from Hesters. What a fantastic piece of equipment and very reasonably priced. Hesters answered all my question and provided excellent customer service. I wish they were my local dealer.

    John, a big thank you for taking the time to provide videos with tips and tricks so us beginners can get ideas and tackle improvements. When you recommend accessories and actually show them installed, they go to the top of my list.

    Love my Hester Fuse Block, it’s worth it people. Thanks John for the updated video, can’t wait to fill up my fuse block. I positioned mine off to the side like in the earlier video. I like the center position of this video.
    Merry Christmas, God Bless!!
    “Don’t like the price, sorry you voted for the wrong guy” Love it.

    My cousin was looking to hook up the winch they took off their previous Kawasaki Mule, at 6:20 in your video you saved them a big problem.
    I went to your site to see how much your fuse setup was, but you have a bunch of dead links. I imagine many people prefer not to talk to someone on the phone, I know I don't want to. So when the link is dead they look elsewhere. It's been 9 months 😊 you have a great video explaining your product, but expect people to call you to get it. Are you open 24/7/365? Probably not, but the internet is.
    My kid is looking for a job, he's handy with a computer and he can take pictures of parts and post them on your website parts department with a price you can change when you need to. 😊
    Thanks again for warning us about the diagnostic plug ins. (They really should be marked from the factory.) 😮

      Yes, we are a bit old school, we like to talk with people, make sure they are getting what they want, we find a great deal who wanted one thing will ask about or buy other things as well. Our website we currently have now is just vehicles. We do want to do a web page, BUT you just don't get that human interaction talking to someone and knowing you are getting all you need. A website can't tell you tank you with appreciation, sure it can type "thank you", but we love the human voice and hearing the happiness in the voice.
      Thank you! We will be building a site soon, we know we can do more with it.

    Are you putting the sound deadening/dash sealing material in before adding accessories and fuse block? Or after. Just picked up my 24 fxt pro and your fuse block. Getting ready to install accessories.

      @HesterEdition  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Like in the video, it' it best to do on a new unit AS you install everything, it's all wide open and easy to do. You can add later but will take more work to run everything through it and clean up everything.

    On the 2024 mule pro fxt i see a postive and negative for the electrical accessory terminal can i tie in to this for my relay? Also my winch requires a ignition wire tie in as well can i just put this on a fuse out of the fuse box or just tie it into the connector as well i am referencing page 49 out of my owners manual to help explain

    Hi John thanks for the video helps a lot.my question is can I run the red power wire from fuse block to the to the red power wire from my winch solenoid to the battery? Also the red power wire for winch has circuit breaker inline from battery will that protect the fuse block if something would short ?

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You can run the fuse block wire from the same + post off the Winch Solenoid, just cut to length and put new connector on it. Just make sure your circuit breaker is high enough amperage.

    • @johnkerr3355
      @johnkerr3355 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Ok thanks I don’t know what amperage the winch circuit breaker is there is no writing on it the winch is a badlands zxr3500

    • @johnkerr3355
      @johnkerr3355 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I found out the winch circuit breaker is 100amp so would that be enough to cover the the fuse block also ? Or do I need a bigger circuit breaker?

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @johnkerr3355 I would suggest 250 min for Winch and fuse block. The breaker is just incase of short, you don't want to over power with everything.

    Mr. Hester, if you have time to answer this (I know you are busy!) - I have a question about the blue wire to a key activation source - DC power outlets in dash or power wire from Kawasaki behind dash. Which do you prefer to use? And if I use the DC power outlet wire, does that eliminate the use of that power outlet? Or if Kawasaki wire is preferred, can you tell me what color wire to look for. I have a 2020 Mule Pro-FXT. Thank you much for this and all of your other helpful videos. I have just purchased a set of Elka shocks from you and just switched over to the UNI filter. I just wish Raton, NM was a bit closer to Harlingen, TX. Would love to bring my Mule to your for some serious "Hester-izing".

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! No it does not matter what you use. No you can keep using the DC outlet just fine if you use that one, as the relay only pulls a couple milli-amps for activation is all, no real draw t take away from the DC outlet.

    So only a red lead Thru the conduit to battery? Then all winch connections up front

      Yes, keep it simple. You can run 2 to the battery if you wish to, many do, we like to keep everything clean and simple.

    Where would the wire for tapping key be for a teryx?

    • @HesterEdition
      @HesterEdition  ปีที่แล้ว

      Easiest way it to just tap into the +wire on the DC put let on the dash. Nice and simple to activate the relay.
