13 years later and I’m still wondering how the hell did they make this engine sound sporty and rawry at the same time.

Individual throttle bodies
Astronomical redline, independent throttle bodies, a huge intake plenum/airbox that sits right on top of the throttle bodies letting you hear the intake scream through the functional hood vent just feet in front of your face. You literally hear each cylinder ripping the air down into the engine in sharp mechanical pulses. Its intoxicating. I owned one and it was probably my favorite car I’ve ever owned.
