I was bron in 2006 but my dad had a VHS tape of this Concert and he showed me this concert when I was 5 or 6 years and I listened to the peace of mind album also and he showed me the flight 666 and the final frontier tour and went my first maiden concert in 2017 and been a maiden fans since I was 5 or 6 years old

I'm 52 I was in my early teens when I was watching this concert on MTV when that station was good they are also one of the best Classic rock Heavy Metal group out their this group is one of my all-time favorite groups big time and the old sayings is if it's too loud 🔊 your too old I still Listen to music very loud 🔊 and I still have good hearing I get my hearing checked every year and I have 100% hearing thank God because I have a lot of wax that protects my ear drums and I listen to Metallica,Judas Priest.and others but Slayer can kiss my ass because I can't stand them because they cuss and they say GD that's why I don't like them anymore

Não podia ser diferente porque estes shows do "Live After Death" que foram filmados e gravados em Long Beach Arena, California de 14 a 18 de março de 1985 e o show que a banda realizou na noite de 11 de janeiro de 1985, na primeira edição do Rock in Rio, são da turnê mundial World Slavery Tour '85, que o Iron Maiden estava fazendo por vários países para promover o álbum "Powerslave" (lançado em 1984), um dos melhores álbuns de estúdio já lançados pela banda até hoje. O álbum "Live After Death" foi o primeiro álbum ao vivo que o Iron Maiden lançou. Still my all time favorite live Maiden release. I remember being 13 years old and hearing this for the first time in 1985 and wow I could not believe how good they sound live. I am 52 and still listening to Live After Death and scream for me long beach still makes me smile today. Up the Irons and all you maiden fans have a good one.

I was an American middle school kid walking around my house quoting Churchill's speech, and my dad asked me how the hell I knew about it, and then I introduced him to Iron Maiden. He hated the music but loved the references to history and literature throughout their work and gave them a huge thumbs up. That's good parenting.

Haha! Sounds like this was many a fans first show. It was mine too Nov. '84 with Twisted Sister at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto Ontario. This and Dio's Dream Evil tour would rank at the top of my list out of hundreds of bar,arena and stadium concerts I've seen over the years! I kind of steered away from them in later years due to most of their songs becoming too long and changing tempos. Don't get me wrong, even that stuff has fantastic musicianship and quality, but a couple of 7-10 min songs are about all I can handle, not a whole album full of them. Number Of The Beast is my favorite of all of theirs.

I've seen a couple hundred concerts (at least), from arenas to bars since then, seeing many of my favorites multiple times, but I would have to say this one, and Dio's Dream Evil tour in '88 would have to top the list of my favorite concerts! One of the greatest live bands ever, Dickinson works the crowd like no other, lucky enough to have attended powerslave tour live at de montfort hall as a teen , I've never been the same since and an experience that will never be matched.
This was my 1st concert, at 16, and out of the hundreds of concerts, from bars to arenas, this , and Dio's Dream Evil tour rank at the top of my favorites!
I still regard this as the best live album ever released.

The band were untouchable at this point in time. A finely tuned, well oiled, live force to be reckoned with - No question. The greatest stage show with the coolest merchandise and epic tunes. This live album defined my youth and still captivates me. Maiden Forever!!!!!!!!!!

Being on the road takes it's toll. You can tell this is towards the end of this tour because they are wiped out yet still giving it they're all... you've got to be in amazing shape to tour like Iron Maiden does.

That would be Judas Priest, who started in 1969 and are still a functioning band. Maiden only started in 1975, six years later.

The great advantage and genius Iron Maiden had is two guitars ... and off course the great great Steve Harris...What a band , what a music, among the best of the best
Judas Priest has two guitarists too. There were more bands with two guitarists before Maiden, so that's hardly original. And there are many, many bass players that Steve Harris names as an influence on _his_ playing; Rinus Gerritsen of The Golden Earring is a particular favorite.

The first 13 tracks (12 songs and the intro) were recorded at the Long Beach Arena in Long Beach, California on March
14-17 1985. The last 5 songs were recorded earlier on the same tour, at the Hammersmith Odeon (now known as the
Hammersmith Apollo) in London on October 8, 9, 10 and 12 1984. On the original double LP version, the songs from Long
Beach are on the first three sides, whereas the songs recorded in London ("Wrathchild", "Children of the
Damned", "22 Acacia Avenue", "Die With Your Boots On" and "Phantom of the Opera")
were on side four.
The initial CD version (released in December, 1985) of this album includes everything that the first three sides of the
LP version contain. The fourth side was not included on the original release, due to capacity problems. Also,
"Running Free" is shortened from about 8:43 on vinyl to about 3:16 on the CD by eliminating the crowd
interaction. There are also only 12 tracks, as the intro to track 1, "Aces High" is actually just included
with the track itself. The 1998 remastered re-release has the unedited version, and includes a second CD with the tracks
that were previously missing. It should be noted that the 1995 re-release also has an extra CD, but that had the b-sides
from the singles on it. Also, this re-release was not remastered.
This version of Aces High is diferent from the version in the Live After Death CD. Is that from Hammersmith Odeon like the 5 "new" tracks of the CD2?? For me is evident how tired and consumed Bruce is but the CD version is flawless
