TYSM oh my gosh, I was racking my brain in AP chem trying to figure out how to use natural logs. You’re a real live saver, thank you I’d probably fail chem as a sophomore with you. Love your content!!! ❤
You're very welcome! I know how it feels to be the student in theses situations, that's why I made these videos. Thanks for the support and good luck with your classes this year!
Wasn’t paying attention in class when my teacher taught us how to change log bases in a calculator.. whatever way he taught, this is probably way easier, thanks
Thank you. I once knew how to do this on this calculator and forgot. It's kinda stupid that you cannot simply set a base yourself. I'm glad they changed that on later models
+HP Calcs Thank heaven I have found your video again! Last semester at Salt Lake Community College (Fall 2018), I was in Math 0980 and they had a unit (I forget which module it was in) where we needed to find logarithms. Luckily, as I remember, most of the logs were of base 10 and natural logs (of base e), but there were a few where we needed to find a different base. This semester (Spring 2019), Math 1010 has a unit in Module 8.3 where we are revisiting this.
@@HDCalcs Thank you so much! I will also need as many blessings of luck as possible for Math 1050 this next semester coming up (Spring 2021). I tried it for this last semester (Fall 2020), but it turned out that I didn't have quite enough background this year for it as I ended up getting a B- but it was just barely short enough that departmental policy gave me a C+. I had to take a year off from math as I didn't feel very comfortable retrying it until now.
Can i use this calculator to solve Entropy calculation -2/5 log2(9/14)? Decision Tree problems. Can you please help how to use if this calculator has the key?

love how straight to the point you are
Thanks Alex! I really do try to make these videos as quick and clear as I can.
Thank you so much sir! I was breaking my mind in class trying to find out how to write the base in the calculator.
You're welcome! It's a great trick, as long as you can remember it!
4 years later, still as simple and relevant as ever.
Saved my life right before my exam tomorrow. Thank you!
You're welcome! I hope your exam went well!

You are very welcome! It wasn't too long ago that I was a student trying to figure these things out!
Thank you!! I have my math 111 final today and we’re only allowed a scientific calculator, this is going to save me!
You're Welcome! Good luck on your final exam!
Thank you. I once knew how to do this on this calculator and forgot. It's kinda stupid that you cannot simply set a base yourself. I'm glad they changed that on later models
It's definitely a nice function to have!
Thank you, it's been years since I had to do this and this explanation was super quick and helpful!
I know how frustrating it can be to come back to a subject after a long time, I'm glad this helped!

Thanks a lot, I got my final in an hour and was freaking out
Thank you so much! My teacher didn't have time to explain this and I was totally stuck.
You're welcome Linnea, I'm glad this was helpful. The change of base can be a little confusing if you don't actually see someone doing it.
This was really Helpful 😊
That's great to hear, thanks for the feedback!
You, my good friend, are a life saver! 😉👍

Super helpful, thank you. It is not intuitive how exactly to put logs into a calculator.
Hi Lamplighter. I know what you mean, glad this could help.
IT DOESN'T LET ME PRESS LOG FIRST. IT SAYS ERROR IF I PRESS LOG FIRST
You are a lifesaver!!

Very Helpful thanks
How would you do f(x)=3^(x-7) and g(x)=2log(2x)
Thank you so much !! ^^
your the best
No you are ! Good luck on your classes!
thanks for the help
Thank you so much
Thank you very much!

Hi Sophie, I'm glad this helped. Good luck with your studies!
Thank you so much!!!
method only works for LogBase2, faulty "formula"
Thank you
thanks so much!
You're welcome!
Thank you love the bat
Thanks I figure he makes things a bit more interesting!
thank you sir
life saver
what about lb bruh
You da man
danke aus Österreich
Bitte!
wow i'm actually so stupid. I've been trying to find the log key for a week now not realizing that its right in front of my face.
No worries, when you have so many keys in front of you it's easy to miss a specific one!
Nice pterodactyl
thanks
but WHY
wow lol LN= natural log
Thank you, this was so helpful.
Thank you so much!
