Graphics defiantly look cleaner and more detailed in golf 5 . I'm a big golf+ fan and have also purchased golf5. I can hit the ball easier in golf+ this does not make it a better game, it's just more enjoyable for me. Golf 5 often left me a little frustrated in how it plays. But I'm sure if I stuck at it, I would get to know its style and how it all works. I think both games could learn of each other, both having some great features.
I have the opposite with the 2 games. I can hit much more consistently with golf5. My son has the same experience you have. His irons are ok on golf5 but his driver and woods he struggles with. We tend to play golf+ when we play in our group.
@@OffGridArcade I'm sure if I stuck at golf 5 I would learn how to do it and be more consistent. I have a golf attachment, and it took me ages to work out how to adjust it. I would probably go and fine tune that to see it, that is also one of my issues. golf + did seem a bit more user-friendly in that aspect.

Well, idk if the PSVR connects to PC, but they just released an app that makes games using thr unreal engine port into VR. They are saying Pinball FX is working great in VR.
Both games are great fun.
I have to say, I don't like the Golf 5 business model: not being able to buy some DLC courses (Liverpool and Troon) outright, but instead having to get a monthly subscription for the three Open courses, puts me off.
I agree. I enjoy them both and I also agree about the way to access the courses in golf 5. I did the yearly thing a while back. Thanks for watching and the comment!

They both have the old course at saint Andrews. You should do a comparison of that.

Would love to see a playability comparison between the two. I have a couple of nits with Golf5 (and therefore play Golf+ exclusively). What is the deal with Golf 5 allowing you to drop the ball on every shot? Thats not how you play the game in real life. Also purchased Golf 5 with the promise of a list of available courses only to find out that I have to "rent" the vast majority of them. Sure graphics are better in Golf 5 but that is just a part of the total.
Yeah. I think the drop thing is for if you need to reset yourself in your guardian. It's helpful for me because I live in a tiny house. Lol. I like how golf+ just let's you reset yourself without messing with dropping. I'm also not a big fan of the yearly cost to play those other courses. I paid for it back when there was only 1 course tho, so I got the latest 2 added for free.
I own both games but play Golf+ exclusively. Golf5 is so frustrating to play and the physics are quite poor. For the life of me I just can’t seem to hit the ball properly on Golf5, with the ball seemingly being topped most of the time. I’ve tried every combination of ball position and swing but nothing seems to work.
On the other hand, because Golf5 only loads one hole at a time, whereas Golf+ loads the whole course, the graphics on the new Golf5 courses do look a lot better.
My son has the same issue with golf5, but it's only with his driver. He either hits a worm burner or manages to launch it up like it's a 9 iron. 99% of the time we play golf+ because of this. For me, I'm much more consistent on golf5. I only play the newer courses tho. Those original courses on golf5 are too hard to play with the crazy ball speeds.
@@OffGridArcade Yes, same for me. A low top which bounces a ridiculously long way, or an Earth orbiting high slice.
I really want to like Golf5 and normally have a quick bash after playing Golf+, to see if anything has changed. The problem is, I won’t buy the new courses because the game doesn’t warrant the expense, for me personally. I just wish that I knew what I was doing wrong.
@ianknight2053 send me a friend request on the Quest and we can play sometime. I have all the courses, so you could see how they play. Lol
