    I enjoy your videos and willingness to share them. Question; What happened to the “bending backwards” at end of swing 2:45? Appears you’re back is straight but some of your training videos talk about a bend backwards angle at position 8?

    Another belter Nick. Nick, maybe in the future a drill for extending towards the target in the backswing. This for me is the hardest part of S&T as when I achieve it...it feels like I have no room to slide the hips forward in the downswing. Because for 30 years I was swaying back behind the ball with chest facing down! I know it’s all in the 6 inches between my ears. Just wondering if there are any good drills for this?

    • @NickTaylorGolf
      @NickTaylorGolf  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks Martin, the first drill should help, once your setup correctly you just need to keep the head steady, I would also focus on tilting the head left. Sometimes it takes time to break these habits 🏌️

    Hey nick great video! I've been a using the S&t since the last 3 years and my golf game has never been better I'm 7 handicap but lately I've been hitting some toe shots is that a common miss hit with s&t? Any help would be great!

    • @NickTaylorGolf
      @NickTaylorGolf  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's great to hear Nick, I wouldn't say it's a common miss but there will be a reason. maybe your flexing your arms slightly?

  • @bruceshearer8711
    @bruceshearer8711 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Nick, I have been watching you S&T videos and they are really helping. My only issue is I have hit several shanks and I use to never shank a ball. Which drill or drills would help figure this out. Thanks

    • @NickTaylorGolf
      @NickTaylorGolf  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Bruce thanks for your message, there are a few reasons why the shank occurs and could be any or a combination. I think I will cover this subject in a future video

    • @bruceshearer8711
      @bruceshearer8711 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the reply. Looking forward to the future video. I was not sure if the shank was a common error while learning the S&T moves.

    Do you sell the pattern you use on your mat? I am not sure if the angles are critical.

    • @NickTaylorGolf
      @NickTaylorGolf  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      They are tee claws and strings attached to the mat, I explained them in one of my previous videos: th-cam.com/video/wBfgyhS8shg/w-d-xo.html

    Great drills. I was getting my wife to film me while I swung & hit some really good balls. Noticed that I would turn my chest toward the target on the follow through & rotate left hip back, some thing I'm working on. However, often lost my balance after finishing follow through. What would cause that? Maybe because I'm 76, lol!

    • @NickTaylorGolf
      @NickTaylorGolf  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nice to hear your working on it, sounds like your leaning forward too much with the upper body in the finish. Try bending backwards to stabilise your balance

    I recently went back to the stack and tilt and my contact as improved dramatically. One issue I'm having is I'm starting to block/push my irons around 15 degrees right rather consistently. I have a strong grip so I'm confused. Also, this does not occur with any of my woods. Should I assume my hands just aren't getting around fast enough? Any thoughts?

    • @NickTaylorGolf
      @NickTaylorGolf  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The good news is that it's consistent, I would first take a look at ball position. Maybe too far back if your pushing

    Large chested golfers have somewhat of a flying right elbow like Jack Nicholas, keeping the ball between the forearms it’s not going to work for them, this is because of our physical make up, I use the Stack and tilt but because of my large chest I have to have a closed stance and a strong left hand and weak right hand for a push set to get the club set quickly because my chest cannot turn as much without pulling my head off the ball, stack and tilt still works great with these adjustments but one size does not fit all.
