Same here in Spain... Just set up the tent past sunset and get up before the first light. Pack everything first and then have your coffee. Nobody could say that you slept there...😅😅😅😅
I wild camp and do more or less as you said, last light in first light out never had an issue . Although when I was packing up a local dogwalker who was out early was on the canal path taken photos when I was making a brew .There always one 😊
Good advice. As you say, if you are responsible you should be fine. On a side note, if a landowner gets any sort of public subsidy, they should not be allowed to ask people who are respectful of the land, to leave..
I've never had any issues wild camping follow the basic rules and generally not being stupid. Did have a worrying moment somewhere in mid Wales one morning where I woke up to the sound of approaching horse hooves thinking I'd been discovered by some farmer on horse back only to find that it was a herd of inquisitive wild ponies.
well said Josh Ireland is similar to England ..wild camping comes under a bit of a grey area ...So like yourself you get a feel for area then take your chance

Yep. Done it several times. Let them know so you don't get a room up lots of stairs.
