After flying on the second of nine DC-10 Scenic Flights around Birmingham, we decided to go and catch the 3rd and final flight of Saturday depart and arrive back. The sound of this aircraft is just as incredible from the outside as the inside!

@Troll Buster Let me guess why you think that... because of the cargo door problems? Yeah, I’ve seen many uneducated chumps like you say the same thing. It is common knowledge that the DC-10 proved to be an incredibly reliable aircraft after its issues were addressed, and still is today. FedEx have just extended the retirement date from 2021 to 2023, and I highly doubt that they would do that if it was ‘bad rubbish’. The DC-10 is a legend on aviation history, whether you like it or not.

A lot of mixed emotions for me - I am originally from Bangladesh and I was the DC-10 Fleet Engineering Manager at Northwest Airlines. we had 40 DC10s. The Captain on this last flight was also my high school Mate from Laboratory High school. Brilliant video Mate !
