When Case "Get's it Right", they are some of the Best Knives made. I recently picked up the Crandle Jig Barlow in Carbon Steel & was equally impressed. Thanks for showing.
Nice review John, gotta love a Case barlow. I have several, my favorite is a 4 incher from Standard Knife Co. in natural bone with a spearpoint blade and heritage jigging.
Very nIce! Had to crack a Red Ale just to watch to this amazing Review! Fantastic red barn board. I think I need my glasses to see that Gap! You have really had bad luck with there Barlow blade centering?! I have been lucky I guess. That one isnt to bad!? Great looking Barlow! This is one Case Barlow i don't have! hoping to get more! PB&J is next! Thanks for sharing TK! Great Review as always brother.
Inflation has gone up twenty percent since you set the $50 amount You may want to go to $65 I have the same knife and really like it and don’t plan to use it Thanks for a thorough review
@@ThriftyKaniffy I was griping about the prices going up but realized that they haven’t gone up Our money is just worth 20 percent less than it was four years ago
I have a Barlow pocket knife, that says on the large blade that it was made in Ireland....is this the same as the Case- Barlow? It is really solid and has a good feeling very sharp blade. Well made but old.
Nice knife & an even better review, thanks! Been wanting to ask when covers are made of bone, what critter is it from? I know there's a lot of camel bone used, but wasn't sure if all are.
If a knife is handmade you might not expect the blade to be perfectly centered, but there is a limit to what is acceptable. Modern knives are frequently adjustable for centeredness with the pivot tension so not a problem often encountered. Thanks, RC Joe.
Newer Case knives are basically JUNK... Yeah, some are better than others but the majority are crap.. The greatest knife company ever has crashed and burned.
When Case get it right, they are fantastic, great looking Barlow TK
They certainly got this one right. Terrific color and fit. Thanks, Mikey.

Right on, Tim. I very much agree. This one is very well done. Thanks for you patronage.
Best feature is the jigging on the scales and that red color, thanks for the look, TK.
The handles are just what Case does best. Thanks, Jose.

Sounds fantastic, Jack. So many knives out there, wish I could afford even more.
Stunning Case Barlow! Thanks for sharing! Might have to get me a Case Barlow now that they are becoming more available. Great music as always TK!
They are! Much more options than from years past. A great thing for Barlow lovers.
I absolutely love a Barlow knife. The barn board jigged bone is gorgeous. Awesome fit and finsh. That's an amazing knife
I'm really liking the Barnboard Jigging with knives in red, blue and purple now. Thanks, Jason.
@@ThriftyKaniffy I think it's awesome. Have a wonderful day today
Wow…. That red bone looks gorgeous ….!!!!
Fantastic looking Barlow… great to see this stunning example of what Case can do…😍
Great review brother…😎👊🏻
Thank you very much, Sean. When they get it right, the are pretty remarkable.
Awesome knife, buddy! Thanks for the look at it!
Another fantastic Barlow. Thanks for taking a look.
Case sure knows their way around jigged Bone
They do indeed. Certainly something that they excel at.
Barlows are some of my favorites without doubt! This is a beauty! Thanks so much for sharing this. Good job buddy!
Mine too! They have such a basic appeal to them and make great carries Thanks, David.
That is a beautiful barlow TK! Excellent video too!! Hard to beat a Sheffield barlow for sure.
Thanks, Randy. Hope you're feeling well.
You got yourself a real winner here John! Excellent review, fantastic knife
Thanks very much, Slippy. Well built and that's not to be taken for granted.
Great looking Barlow, thanks for sharing TK. Be safe
Thanks very much James. Another fantastic Barlow for the collection.
Great thorough review. Very nice TK. Mine arrived today. My only gripe is I want tang stamps or bolster stamps on it.
Bolster stamps can look nice indeed. Thanks, Mr. Steve.
Good looking Barlow. I could do without the blade etching, but I can understand why Case does it from time to time. Thanks for sharing and God bless.
The etch I can overlook with the combination of a great handle and bolster. Thanks, Stan.

The centering is just good enough not to rub, so I'll let it go. Thanks for having a close look Andrew.
Really rich looking dye job on the handles. Overall nine looking knife. Thanks.
I like the deep red dye color with some transition and this has that. Thanks, Pocket.
That’s a beauty.
Thanks very much Brandon, glad you like it.

It's something I'm having to reconsider. Bad as I've ever seen it in my lifetime.

Hard to know without seeing it. Thanks, Bernie.
I’m curious what the deal is with spun pins. Why are those sometimes used in place of normal pins?
They're often used at the center pin where the back spring begins flexing to make it more durable.
Nice knife & an even better review, thanks!
Been wanting to ask when covers are made of bone, what critter is it from? I know there's a lot of camel bone used, but wasn't sure if all are.
Hi Stacey, most is used from deceased cows and often from chin bone specifically.
@@ThriftyKaniffy good to know. I kinda figured that, but wanted to make sure. Thanks!
That is one absolutely gorgeous Barlow buddy!!!😱
Thanks, H4H. Bought at the Wagon Wheel!
Coming from the regular knife world lol a un centered blade is sent back every time is centering not a thing in the slip joint world ?
