I swim for DePauw University during the school year and with Purdue University over the summer. At Purdue, I've noticed a couple people with Olympic rings on their ankles while I'm swimming next to them. At DePauw, I'm friends with a woman who swam for Yemen in the Rio Olympics.
Apparently Steven Tyler is really generous to people he's close to. My mom's old friend grew up with him, and he used to give them all access passes to shows when Aerosmith was in Houston. My grandmother also used to help make costumes for Destiny's Child when they were just starting out.

In the movie the Perfect Storm, one of the fishermen didnt show up for work, so he was replaced by another guy. And they all died at sea during the storm. Turns out, her dad was the guy that called out that day. My friend's sister was sick, and he stayed home with her to care for her. He lost all his work friends that day. And it blew my mind that happened to him, much less was practically a fucked up easter egg in the movie for them.

For example I am friends with a lot of partnered streamers and sponsored esports players with decent followings, and they are a little different from normal ppl just because it is kinda hard to schedule with them because they are always streaming/practicing and the only thing you can really do is play games with them that they have hundreds more hours than you in, but other than that they are pretty chill
My dad knows a ton of old 80s rockers, not like super closely but he used to party with them. One of his close friends is a big name tour manager for our country and often, still to this day, offers him free spare VIP tickets. I've been offered them too, for bands I'd kill to see but like my dad I often have to say no due to living too far away. Like he'll message 2 hours before a concert and I live 3 hrs away.

my aunt is a very well known doctor who works in NYC. people around that area may know the name if they're pregnant because she works with pregnancy and delivering babies. she's written 2 popular pregnancy books and has been in some pregnancy documentaries on tv. rated 5 stars on google. you may not think it's really cool but she knows a LOT of A-List celebrities cause of her work. she worked with people like matthew broderick, michael j. fox (delivered all 3 of his children), and also delivered penelope cruz's baby. a few years ago we were in the car with her and my cousins in NYC and she had my sister send penelope a text. she got really excited when she answered. pros: if I ever have any questions about pregnancy or anything, I can always get answers from her and I don't have to pay a dime. that's about all I can think of. she is really generous and stuff, even paid for my car as a graduation gift. not any cons that I can think of. her husbands also a successful doctor. they have a nice vacation home in connecticut that they let my family use for a week to get away, that's cool too lol

I was in an online relationship with the son of the bassist from a very popular (leaving out the names of for privacy, he's fairly popular on social media thanks to his dad, so i'd rather not mention names). after a year of talking to each other, his father's band was on tour and i went to see this band (amazing btw) and i got to meet him for the first time. he was very sweet and we took our time getting to know each other and hugging and all that within 30 minutes before/after the show (he was sitting in the back with the tech people and i ran over to greet him before/after the show). This doesn't really count, but he was very sweet to me. We ended it due to him living across the world, but it was still a fun time :)

If I was famous, I feel the hardest part for me would be, people trying to send me merch, to up their status. Like hey can you wear this hot pink bag? "Um no, where do I return this?" Or handing me stuff like watches, wines, trips, ect, and trying to bill me later. Though having a few fake friends wouldn't bother me, as long as we had fun hanging. If all you do is hang in a park/talk, and they stick around you know they good friends.

It’s not my type of music, but they’re really good for what they are, he is and has always been a beast of a singer. I never ask for anything, but he found out from another friend that I was about to buy a new guitar. My father's first cousin is the husband of one of the most famous singers in my country and she won the jury votes on this year's Eurovision. So she is my aunt and her 2 children are my second cousins. Although she is pretty famous, she is so down to Earth and one of the most humble people I have ever met. Whenever we visit or they come to our house she always talks to everyone and has the biggest smile on her face. Definitely my favorite aunt and I mention her every time i meet a new person that I get along with.
Had the same barbershop as Dennis Schröder. Met him a couple of times. Really chill guy. He and his buddy went there together and we had interesting talks mostly about hair (obviously :P). Told me he was drafted and never saw him again. I'm not big into Basketball, i just occasionally check how he is doing and he seems to do quite fine.

I had a one night stand with a popular and legendary Hollywood A-Lister. I didn't really know that much about him to be honest, as I'm not really into American movies and actors but obviously knew who he was. I discovered after it happened he has a wife and family. I'm still sour about it all and anytime he pops up on screen I shudder inside. The night was great, and spontaneous but I was mortified that he had a family. I still am and probably always will feel awful about it. I've only ever told 2 people who it was. Other than that I'll take it to my grave.
I knew a kid in my summer camp whose mother was related to Carrie Fisher through Eddie Fisher’s side of the family. She told me that they were pretty distant relatives though. She never met Eddie and Carrie passed away before she could. She said that they were always a talking point at gatherings.

My Godfather is a d-list actor. He was best friends with my late granddad and step-nanna. Ok. I wasn't friends with this person, but he was my classmate.
So, a bunch of years ago there was this guy (let's call him Mark cuz that's his name) on class who disappeared. Like, after holidays, he didn't come back to school. He hadn't tell anyone anything. Even his closest friends didn't know where he was. So, we all assumed Mark died. Some years later, one of my friends was on TH-cam when a song came up. She was like 'why not?' and watched the video. It was from a boyband which had just debuted. She got to one part where she was like 'hey. this guy is familiar.' So she searched about this boyband on Google, and their names, when she realized it Mark, the guy who had disappeared. So, she sent the song to our groupchat and we were all like ':0'. Turns out Mark didn't die, he just moved to another country to be a singer.

I'm from the area where Dave Chappelle's from. Us locals are used to him. He's really down to earth and just wants to live a normal life when he's home. Long as you respect him when he's out with his family and not bother him he's cool. Lots of my friends used to smoke with him and probably still do. my aunt is a very well known doctor who works in NYC. people around that area may know the name if they're pregnant because she works with pregnancy and delivering babies. she's written 2 popular pregnancy books and has been in some pregnancy documentaries on tv. rated 5 stars on google. you may not think it's really cool but she knows a LOT of A-List celebrities cause of her work. she worked with people like matthew broderick, michael j. fox (delivered all 3 of his children), and also delivered penelope cruz's baby. a few years ago we were in the car with her and my cousins in NYC and she had my sister send penelope a text. she got really excited when she answered. pros: if I ever have any questions about pregnancy or anything, I can always get answers from her and I don't have to pay a dime. that's about all I can think of. she is really generous and stuff, even paid for my car as a graduation gift. not any cons that I can think of. her husbands also a successful doctor. they have a nice vacation home in connecticut that they let my family use for a week to get away, that's cool too lol

I was in an online relationship with the son of the bassist from a very popular (leaving out the names of for privacy, he's fairly popular on social media thanks to his dad, so i'd rather not mention names). after a year of talking to each other, his father's band was on tour and i went to see this band (amazing btw) and i got to meet him for the first time. he was very sweet and we took our time getting to know each other and hugging and all that within 30 minutes before/after the show (he was sitting in the back with the tech people and i ran over to greet him before/after the show). This doesn't really count, but he was very sweet to me. We ended it due to him living across the world, but it was still a fun time :)

One of my friends since high school is the lead singer of a pretty popular band. I guess they’re considered arena rock? It’s not my type of music, but they’re really good for what they are, he is and has always been a beast of a singer. I never ask for anything, but he found out from another friend that I was about to buy a new guitar. Sure enough a better guitar than the one I wanted to buy shows up on my doorstep straight from the factory. Dude has always been super generous. I also pretty much get free vip passes to just about any concert or festival I want to go to.

My roommate in college I guess was the nephew of Stellan Skarsgard by marriage. Actually had lunch with him one time when they were in town visiting my roommate. This was at University of Alabama the year we won the championship against Texas for the 2009-2010 season. He was nice. My grandpa is a former NFL player. He's 83 and an intolerable asshole. Some of his siblings think that he still has NFL money(he doesn't) and chastise my mom for not giving in to all of his demands. Each visit to his nursing home must always include a treat and approximately $40 for his wallet.
