few weeks back we travelled to Vizag fm Sec-bad by VB and the ride was buttery even when it was cruising at 130... hardly any jerks or sound... unfortunately that it met with a minor accident hitting a buffalo which died on the spot and we were in the first coach/engine... but overall a superb experience... next want to try tirupati (yet to start) and katra VB for Vaishno Devi

In my opinion, a country like India doesn't necessarily need 350km/hr+ speed transport system. Even If we can just achieve 200Km/hr+ speeds, we'll see exponential growth just from this small bump.
Current rail infrastructure cannot support those speeds. Those speed need better signalling, upgraded tracks and most importantly no chapris on the tracks. They would be made into paste before they can even close their tiktok app.

The tracks have to be upgraded. Only then can we expect sustained speed above 160 k. We dont want accidents. Also unfort many fools still cross the tracks blindly or leave their cows to graze But we are progressing unlike the 9 years of coma with Rail Mantri Mumtaz Begum! The commissoning of 2 DFC will free the existing tracks for much faster passenger trains
