I know it, unlike most of us that kill dinks for a first bow kill lol …scroll on down the channel and watch her crossbow kill, he’s bigger than that one… she’s a lucky outfit lol
Great shot Terri 😊 That's an amazing first buck with the bow ! You were very composed at the time of the shot You will learn to maybe aim a little lower Because a deer that close is always going to drop Congratulations young lady Great video thank you for sharing ❤
I’m still waiting for my first archery deer after getting a new bow back in 2015. Shot three wild Tom turkey, but still waiting to close the deal on a white tail buck. Targeting what was a 10 point buck last year on trail cam. 🤗 had one 5 point & three 6 point with 2 of those sparring on camera last year as well on the farm I hunt, so hopeful. Last years target buck that should have been a 12 point, was hit by a car just before season opener, completely deflating my hopes, then the weather took a dive & never got better after that. He had 6 on one side & the other side was lost in the collision & never recovered. 😔🥺 When the weather took a total dump with howling winds, rain, then snow & continued roaring winds, I finally threw in the towel. Still blowing & roaring winds with 2.5 ft of snow on the ground for this springs turkey hunt, then 83F & flooding from rapidly melting snow & continued strong & gusty winds, that season was also hopelessly scrapped as well. 😑🤷
That's a helluva shot for 1st bow kill. I shook every leaf out the tree 30 years ago on my 1st bow kill & it was a doe. Did I mention I missed my 1st 2 or 3 from shaking like a leaf. Made it look easy.
Congratulations Teri on a beautiful nice buck being your first deer. Now this don't happen every year so be happy every year if you get a doe or buck. Great job with your shooting , you was relax with your bow.
Awesome first bow kill buck no doubt about it!!! Congratulations Mrs Teri!!! You have the best looking hunting partner I’ve ever seen Justin!! Lol You two make a great team for sure!! Good luck in 2023
Thank you! What you couldn’t see from the footage was a third deer that was coming in just out of view, so I was trying to manage a draw with 3 of them in line of sight lol
Just watched your video and it was great! So glad ya'll went back the same day and recovered it. You can tell that she practiced shooting a good bit cause the shot was good no matter the duck's reaction. I'm from WV, and keep up the good work!!!!🎯
2:21 😂 chicken strips Congrats on that deer! My wife missed a buck opening day (first szn, first day ever hunting) she ended up getting a doe for her first deer. That was in Dec. She missed a spike and a 6pt last year. Hopefully this year she can get antlers in her hands!
I’ve been hunting for 34 years and have taken some dandy bucks here in Illinois. But it’s been on my buck list to kill one in velvet. Congrats on a beautiful trophy !!!!!
My husband had me ask if you or Teri can explain her hat and pony tail is it a cut in the hat?I myself have been looking for a hat solution and it looks like she has it figured out
From Teri: Yeah lol my wife says it a problem to find anything that works. We bought a hat at sportsman’s warehouse and she made me cut a hole in the top for a pony tail 😂 you can find regular pony tail hats from Amazon if you’re looking tho.
Absolutely beautiful deer and the patients to make the shot. Man if you don’t do anything else, get her a Safety Line up before you all climb. I been noticing here lately A Lot of videos people are not using them to Get up and down there’s no shame in being safe . Again this is a fantastic deer Especially for your first one with a bow!!! Congratulations
Great job good hunt. Counting down the days in Arkansas. I am doing a urban archery hunt in a small town. September 1st thru February 28th. Unlimited deer tags. U can keep the meat. Or donate it to hunters feeding the hungry. Planning on donate as many as i can. Help out as many people as i can. My factor place is to be. In a tree in the fall in the big woods. On a cold day. All the colors u see.
What clothing brand and pattern is she wearing. I have lost a lot of weight and my cloths are worn out. But everything I see is ridiculously priced. Congratulations to her on a super nice buck especially for a first Bow kill she handled it like a pro seemed to be very collected and most importantly she was very patient.
Great video. Congrats on the giant buck. It's awesome to be able to share a moment like that on TH-cam but I know there's nothing like the excitement of having the family and friends there. To get a hog of a deer like that for your first bow hunt can ruin you 😂. I've been hunting with my wife for a long time and she has yet to get her first buck and wants to do it this year with a bow. We are hunting a very large piece of land in Ky and I've been watching a "125" 8 point out of my kitchen window for a month 😁. She is a great shot. It would be amazing to video and post it if it weren't for all the pervs and negative snowflakes in the hunting community today. People used to be a lot more respectful. Anyway, congrats again. You have an absolute beauty with you and she hunted like a pro. She seems to be a sweetheart too. Good for you both. I pray you have many more successful hunts together and don't pay attention to the negative nellys in the comments. They're just jealous 😂.
Great job young Lady ! If I may ask How many pounds draw ? How heavey of an arrow with broadhead ? I not a big fan of your broad head choice. But it worked . Great video..
Did anyone ask your opinion about the broadhead? I'm not a big fan of people posting something negative in EVERY hunting video I watch but there's always atleast one of you. Someone who knows more, is better at something, a hero in their own mind. Where are your hunts posted? Maybe I'll watch them and see how I can help you.
theres no such thing as no mans land between lungs and spine... lungs stay tight up against ribs and spine constantly... it would be virtually impossible to thread an arrow in between them
You are correct, there is nothing between the lungs and spine.. what I’m referring to is the gap just above the spine… I call it no man’s land .. thanks for watching
IMO There is a “no man’s land”.. it’s high above the shoulder just above the spine… I’ve seen many deer hit there and in most cases people get the deer back on camera and they are completely fine.I have also skinned deer and found arrows/broadheads in this location as well.
The lungs and spine might meet but there is an area between the two that will not result in a lethal shot. Nearer to the spine the deer drops and couple of minutes later he is gone. A little lower he runs and you find very little blood. Glad you got him.
Nobody asked for your "professional" opinion. Maybe you could come across as giving a suggestion instead of telling someone who just harvested a giant, how to kill a deer!
I watched your video. Why do you wear a safety harness WITHOUT A SAFETY LINE FROM THE BOTTOM TO THE TOP? SO MANY HUNTETS ARE INJURED OR EVEN DEAD. CHECKOUT THE HUNTERS SAFETY SYSTEM PLEASE....GOD BLESS! ED R IAA PRESIDENT

What?!?!?! You didn't bring snacks for that beautiful woman, shame on you
if u hunt a deer its mean you hunt a girl a child deer is peaceful friendly animal so pls
Never shoot a deer with its head already down if his head would have been up shot would have been right in the pump house
I agree but there was a deer outside the frame that had us pegged so she took the best shot that was presented before the other deer spooked
