I remember you used to give a brief history on the character you were unboxing. Bring those back because I'm familiar with cyborg Superman but I'm not sure about his origin.
I agree figure he's trying to shorten the video but without a synopsis I just fast forward to the end of the video

Phenomenal Statue. I really try to limit the 1/3 choices but that'd be an exception. Cyborg Superman has major presence. With him and Zod, I wish Prime 1 would make Eradicator
I just received this statue today. Well, part of it . . . Box 1 will (inexplicably) arrive tomorrow, and as such I can't set it up! Well, it took them 28 years to get a statue of the Cyborg Superman out there, and it is amazing! They did put out a figure line of 7" figures showcasing the four Superman imposters way back in the 90's. The Cyborg Superman of that line was a perfect recreation of the character as drawn by Jurgens and Breeding in the "Resign of the Supermen" sequel series to the "Death of Superman." A few years later a 12" (Toys R Us exclusive) figure was put out, which strangely had less detail than the 7" version! I had hoped this statue would be more akin to the original artwork from that storyline, but if not, then at least they'd have Superman chest symbol painted the same as the original Cyborg Superman logo. What could be the next in this line - perhaps the Eradicator, with his translucent yellow shades and energy fists? Maybe Steel with his metal sledgehammer . . . or perhaps the Kid with his denim jacket with the yellow Superman logo on the back (who later became the character Conner Kent, I believe . .. )?
I think I like the pointing hand. Sort of says, "Yeah, I'm coming for you!" That statue is huge!
That’s one impressive statue. Ya gotta go with the screaming face for sure but either the GL or “fingers” arm will look dope af.
They killed it with this piece. Looks fantastic with any switchout.
That long finger hand is dope! Screaming head sculpt is off the charts for me.

Mines converting today. Can’t wait! This character pulled me back into comics when I was young. I can still remember seeing Superman #80 on the news stand and I just stopped and stared… not knowing who the 2 supermen were on the cover!
The death of Superman was my return to buying new comics, and even with all the grief it gets, it was an amazing story Definitely my favorite Superman villain. What an absolutely gorgeous statue!
What a great looking piece! I also loved the Death/Return of Superman story when I was a kid-that was one of those game changers in comics back then.
Would love to see this studio do statues for Eradicator and Steel as well.

Those switch out for the face are awesome. They all look great but the i think the one with his mouth open is the best!!
I remember this character from the time they had the death of Superman story. This sculpt of the Cyborg Superman is really well done and is so impressive in the details. The size they chose to go with, makes this one large sculpt but it really makes it catch the eye and demand your attention. Both of those portraits are so outrageously evil looking, especially with that right mechanical arm that has those menacing metal fingers. All I can say is WOW on the creation of such an impressive piece. Congrats Gem on finally getting this piece in and thank you for sharing it with us.
I didn’t know Cyborg Superman returned in Green Lantern. This video inspires me to reread my Death and Return of Superman omnibus tomorrow, it’s been a long time since I read it
Wow!! I think that is one of the coolest Superman statues that I've ever seen. I've seen it before in the past but, I passed on ordering it which, I should not have, now I may regret it.

I loved the design of this statue since they revealed it. Although the extended fingers look great, I’d go with the closed fisted hand, shouting head and pointing finger, like some kind of dictator.
That mouth open portrait is amazing…the detail from flesh to metal is on point

You can get the battery plate off by prying it off with a small flat head screwdriver by the hairline. It comes off quite easy that way
This is a great statue. Hits the nostalgia for me too.
Not sold on the fabric cape though, good sculpted capes bring so much to a statue.

So great. I love this character and with all of those cool switch out pieces it would be difficult to choose between them.
Not a fan of Cyborg Superman, but I can’t deny that this statue is really nice! The sculpt, portrait, paint, and texture are excellent. The only negative would be the mixed media cape. I prefer sculpted. But that’s just because I suck at posing capes. 😆

Loved Cyborg Superman in the Green Lantern Saga...would be cool to see a Yellow Lantern Cyborg Superman. I really like seeing villains with the screaming face, and heroes with a stoic face, not sure why.
