I grew up about 25 miles north of downtown. Despite the crime and homeless issues it’s good to see Seattle is still alive and breathing even if it’s not quite what it was. I live just north of Portland, OR now and Portland is laying on its deathbed in comparison. Just three more weeks and I’ll be moving back but going to be 40-50 miles north of Seattle this time and I can’t wait.
