Good job. I noticed if you are looking for your car in a big parking lot. My old car I could toot the horn from the key fob to locate my car. The NX only has a button for the panic alarm which will blow the horn continuously. Also I don’t think there is a mute button on the steering wheel to mute the radio. My old car had this
Just keep locking the car over and over with the key fob, and you'll hear the beeps. Not as loud as a horn but come on. Also, there is a mute button on the dash: it's called the volume knob, and you turn it all the way down.
the "walk away and lock" button on the hatch is a little different than what you described! you want to press it BEFORE you have everything wrangled up. after pressing it, you have 30 seconds to grab all your stuff (and it'll beep to remind you). so once you walk away with your hands full, and thus unable to reach up to close it, it'll sense you've left and close behind you.

I just discovered how to clean the rear camera. Go to reverse on the shift and then clean the rear windshield and will clean the camera at the same time!
Awesome video. I might suggest adding how to release your gas cap if it gets stuck. In the trunk area where the little hidden compartment is on the left hand side near the emergency kit... If you pull that out, you have interior access to the automatic release of your gas cap. My gas cap has got stuck a couple times and I had to do a lot of research to find out how to manually. Put your hand in and pull the small lever. It will open up your gas tank if the dash button does not work. I live in Florida, and each time my gas cap button and the dash did not work was right after a very bad storm.
Another quirk is that there is no "pause" button for media (the Mode button is supposed to work but I've found it unreliable). The work around is to press the volume button. Technically speaking this is "off" but, for my phone, it pauses the playback and resumes when you push the volume button again to turn it back on. Now, if you leave it off for too many trips, I've found the music disconnects but that's another story ...

Excellent video walk-thru. I just got the 2025 NX350h Premium w/ 14” touchscreen and 20” wheels so disappointed they dun have wireless charging and no headup display. Wish they included this in premium. 😒
I just love this video thank you. Earlier today I took my dog to the park in my Lexus. Shortly after I received a notification that my drivers side rear window was open. Is it possible to close the window remotely either with the App or the key? (I couldn't find a way but thought you might know?) Thanks again Mike
Hi Mike! As always thanks for the support! Yes so there is a way to have your dealership activate the window function on your key. HOWEVER it only rolls down the window and not up I believe!
We test drove the 2024 NX250 base model this weekend and when my daughter tried to move to a different seating position in the rear seat, the car started chiming incessantly as we drove along, with everyone's seatbelt safely latched. The dashboard first indicated there were three people in the rear, then none. We tested it several times and decided we cannot buy the car unless that chiming can be turned off. Imagine when we take the dog for a ride and he moves around in the back seat!

Very good video, Dustin!! I am not thrilled with all the techno stuff tho. It’s too distracting and too much to remember. How is the learning curve in these vehicles? Takes forever….Can be master eventually…Can learn in a snap… How much help would someone not interested in this technology need to operate this vehicle at a safe level. I live in the USA and there’s always a campaign going somewhere regarding texting or phone use while driving AND then the manufacturer puts a giant iPad in front of the driver? I would really like to see a video and the positives or negatives of using the Charge mode on the NX 450h+ while driving. Do you run a bunch of extra gasoline while charging the EV battery and if you do, does the amount of gas you use make it counter productive when charging the EV battery while driving. Looking at this for long range trips on maximizing fuel and EV use.
Also, a big thank you for the share on adding and customizing all of those buttons on the steering wheel. I've had my '22 nx fsport handling AWD for two years and did not know this. 😂😮ha ha
Thank you for the video. I have 2025 Lexus NX 350 car. For some reason when i park the car (pushing the park button) and after the minute trying to drive, putting the gear in D position, the brakes doesn't release and not allow me to drive. I don't know how to switch to auto mode which allow me (after parking the car) to drive, releasing the brake automatically after shifting the gear to D or R position
I love your videos Dustin. They are like, "Lexus for Dummies"...........and believe me we are dummies (well I should speak for myself). Your explanations of the various gadgets is framed in a manner that is easily understood (even by us Baby Boomers who have a hard time understanding the difference between "push & pull" on office doors). It's not "tech-talk", filled with an abundance of unknown abbreviations and iGen acronyms which are as unknown to us Baby Boomers as ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics. (Btw - Reference page 97 in the OWNERS MANUAL QUICK GUIDE, what is [ SRS warning light ] ???? (Some Other Stuff) - ? PS: One thing you didn't mention is the Optional "kick to open" the rear hatch lid. (No, you don't kick the lid itself.......JFYI)

Hopefully, the people responsible for creating those steering wheel buttons are now working for Ford or anyplace else. They are the WORST (even worse than the trackpad and touchpad). Almost a deal-breaker.
Good job!!, My F-Sport 3 has the kick plate close option. Also I noticed that on the right quick key. I did not have option to choose sport even though I have sport plus. Lastly I have resr heated seats and power recline and fold rear seats. Thoughts on the custom key for me?? TY
Hi Dustin; On the right side steering wheel controls there are 'Following Distance' and 'Driving Assist Mode' - there are also '2 dots' (upper right and lower right) - What do they do as it looks like they do nothing?
With birds eye view on, you can click the Auto button, and at slow speeds it will show you! However it will kick out as soon as you start driving at anything above a walking speed FYI!
Just got a 2022 nx350 and there is a squeak noise when I put it in park, I hear the winding down noise which I know is normal, but there is also a bit of a squeak and that I don’t know if it’s normal..does anyone know?

Most annoying drive safety features ever! Lane Departure “Alert” will intervene at all times, even when lanes are narrow, even when dangerous. Should be cancelled all together UNLESS you want to be surprised the wrong way! Speed warnings cannot be put to visual only, as they would come back on with visual and vocal warnings after EACH restart, even though the system misreads speed warning signs most of the time. So LEXUS helps us, who have actually paid for this car!
Not Japan Made🤷♂️I’ll skip on it for many reasons.. Also no exhaust integration in bumper like my 2021 NX?? Why they want to blend with Hybrids?? They cut so many things and I’m not a huge fan of new Gen of NX at all!!

You didn’t explain the door pull lever, only the push button. My passenger can’t figure out how to get out. Tnx for any help.

Yes on the 450h+ "F" Sport uses Regular gas However I NEVER USE GAS...but Elec only at 49 miles per plug-in
