I waited for 12 months for this exact exterior/interior combination with the hybrid powertrain. Grecian Water with Palomino interior. It was worth the wait!
My NX has been nothing but a pure delight (like this channel 😁) and after 30,000 miles, it's still doing extremely well. However... I don't like the slight hesitation i get pressing the gas pedal after leaving a red light. Causes a jerk on take off. Happens in every mode, i don't understand why. Other than that, I'm really loving it. Mark Levinson sound system is superb!! And the seats are one of the best. Touch screen is phenomenal but can be overwhelming at times. Voice control and HUD keeps that issue at bay. I bought a interior protection kit for the gloss black. Highly recommend, easy installation. Great video of a great vehicle!! 🎉🎉
Love the fact that Toyota provides physical buttons. It is intuitive and easier to change when on a busy city road. Hate those touch screens which are finicky especially then it is -10 and you are wearing gloves.
Hi, I really love you guys, I’ve learned so much about cars from your vlogs!!! I recently started looking at the Buick Envision , can you do a review on it please
I agree about having to put premium fuel in the NX since it is the same engine in the Toyota. I recently purchased a RX 350h and I asked the same question about premium fuel and was told by a Lexus mechanic the engines are tuned different. The crazy thing about the RX is it has a 17 gallon tank but when it says it has five miles or less until empty it only takes 13 gallons to fill up. I assume all Lexus have the same reserve amount. Great video as always.t
I had a Camry hybrid and could maybe get 12 gallons in it when empty, but it had a 17 gallon tank. I always thought about it, but didn’t wanna ask when at the dealer.
93 octane isn’t too expensive when you only use an average of 8.6 gallons a month to go about 900 miles a month. I’m talking about my Volvo S60 recharge, 103 miles per gallon since new, over the last 18 months, 17,000 miles. The icing on the cake is the performance, 455 hp, 523 pounds feet of torque.
@@billurban1581 I looked into an xc90 but when in electric is RWD, hybrid FWD/AWD. Not even the dealer could answer my question. How are they in the snow when in the electric? Does the motor come on a lot for the extra grip upfront? Or do you have to actually have to put it in constant AWD on the settings?
Its a shame on the premium fuel requirement. These days with the price of gas, it makes the difference between buying or not. Great video, great info. Cheers.
My neighbour bought one of these in F-Sport trim (a nice red one) and they love it. They only had to wait about 3 months for it, which (at the time) was quite a bit less than most other options. Regarding the buttons vs screens debate, I prefer buttons as well. That said, in many modern cars with automatic features, I don't use them that often. For example, my temp is set at 22.5C and stays there year round, so it's not like I'm constantly adjusting it.

If you want excitement and great road manors look somewhere else but for many who want looks, reliability and service slam on the brakes. Having said all that my nest car will be a Porsche !
I had run-flat tires on a Sienna minivan about 15 years ago. Never again! My young daughter and I got stranded on a long trip after a run-flat tire disintegrated on us. Had to be towed into the next town. The local tire shop did not stock run-flat tires. Had to wait two days in a seedy motel for the shop to get a replacement tire. A total nightmare.
😂 Zack still talking about a spare tire! This vehicle is very nice and I would given a 8.5 out of 10. One reason is I still don’t like the grill. Great show Andrea! ☕️☕️
I am old fashioned and this bugs me regarding the lack of a spare tire but have backup, annual CAA and Lexus roadside assistance (life of the warranty).
Just leased the 350 turbo cloudburst gray black interior & the 350H atomic Silver red interior both are Premium trim.. turbo has extreme power 350H a little less.. both are quiet & impressive.. downsized from a Highlander Platinum & a RX450h .. perfect vehicles We like the piano black.. with run flat tires, I opted for the tire & wheel coverage..in the US the top trim Luxury is almost 60k..
We test drove/compared the NX hybrid with the Venza Limited. We went with the Venza and we're very happy. And we saved money on the difference between the two vehicles. But, we would have liked the blue exterior/tan interior mix, which was not available on the blueprint blue exterior Venza.

An extra 3 inches… makes a HUGE difference! Just ask my Wife. She and I just returned from picking up 5 large bags of mulch, 4 bags of potting soil, a 10kg of Kentucky grass seed and more. She is ALWAYS reminding me that she’d prefer an extra 3 inches. I consistently tell her that its more about a proven power plant. Great CUV, love the interior and the proven brand - although I wish (at least on the F-Sport) that they offered their brilliant 3.5L instead of this turbo 4-banger (yeah, I said banger). Thanks for the video.
I prefer the look of that silver RX. The paint choice and the slight alteration in the frame takes a bit of the curse off that ugly grill. Streamlines it rather nicely.
Turbo engines are great, unless you keep the vehicle longer term post-warranty, don't change the oil frequently, & drive most of your miles in stop/go city/suburb type traffic instead of open highway miles. Most people also don't let them properly warm up before driving or cool down after driving, damaging them over the long-term. But hey, they are fast & fun, & that is all that matters, so buy one!
Most of the things about Lexus is good. I’ve tempted to get one, mainly for its reliability, but the front grill really bugs me. Looks more like a shark mouth. And they carry it to the Camry as well. Maybe it’s just me. I love Toyota and Lexus, but just personally can’t stand the front grill. So I got a Honda Accord for my kid and a BMW X3 for me. I enjoyed your shows. Liked and subscribed.

I always like blue. Its kind of boring with all those white, black, silver and grey Lexus.
Properly warm up? Side when, 1970?
@@senraq6332 yes dysto us behind the times.
@@senraq6332 Might want to do some research on it. Turbo tech has improved over the decades but it still has issues/limitations vs NA engines.
Toyota’s been using turbos for decades. Even in the 80s, the underlying engines were still reliable.
03:47 Ooops the speed bump...... 🙃😛😂😂😂
They have cool jobs
It’s ironic that the best version of the Lexus spindle grill is on the 2025 Toyota Crown Signia.
I gotta have it in copper crest and macadamia interior
Most of the things about Lexus is good. I’ve tempted to get one, mainly for its reliability, but the front grill really bugs me. Looks more like a shark mouth. And they carry it to the Camry as well. Maybe it’s just me. I love Toyota and Lexus, but just personally can’t stand the front grill. So I got a Honda Accord for my kid and a BMW X3 for me. I enjoyed your shows. Liked and subscribed.
I am right there with you! The front grill is a turn off!
This is equivalent to the Rav4? Nice review, guys.
Actually it's much more to the venza than the Rav
I wonder if my 2003 Volvo can last until the next generation of NX comes out.... come on ol' girl you can do it!
I have a 2022 and yes a spare tire would be great
What was Zack’s watch of the day? Don’t ask Andrea, one can see the Rolex clasp from the iPhone screen. 😆

I love the original lx spindle grill! If I get a luxury car I want it to scream that. I hate the new RX grill.
