Lol yeah, I put a light in the box 😂 I was going for a 'Pulp Fiction briefcase' vibe. You know, for a giggle. Thanks for watching. You're awesome! Have a great day.
Just found your channel - so enjoyed this video and reactions! I have moved to Singapore from the states - and no outdoor garden for me here but I have a balcony and lots of bright light - I feel that I can learn a lot from your videos -thank you!
Thank you so much 😊. Lucky you in Singapore, you'll have lots of sunshine and heat. Plants love a bit of heat. Hopefully you can play with a real variety of plants in those conditions. Thank you for watching! 💚🌿🌱🪴
Hi! I just found your channel! I do have the begonia and PPP! Your begonia is huge! Mine came with only 4 or 5 leaves snd currently has about 4 leaves! I have it in an enclosed glass house....overall it loves the humidity...even if it is a tight fit....the PPP I got so small and it grows, but it is still over all small...yours looks do perfect and it is such a nice size....I am happy yo hear the price was right too....I will have to watch all your other videos...and love your pics....love from MN USA
Thank you so much, I'm really glad you enjoyed it. The Begonia is proving a challenge for me, as I suspected, but it seems to be muddling through it all. The cloche was way too small for the plant but I took a couple of insurance leaf cuttings which are in the closhe instead and they seem to be doing well. But a larger indoor glass house sounds like a really good idea. I am glad I waited for the PPP but to be fair, it is still a bargain in the UK so I was lucky. Thank you so much for watching, you're awesome! Have a great day.
I have a similar begonia in pon. It’s not the easiest to repot because it’s so hard to handle its hairlike roots but it makes watering easier and they seem to love the airy but constantly moist setup and you can avoid getting water on the plant itself even when it’s crazy bushy
Yeah mine is looking kinda frazzled at the moment but I really want to transfer it to pon. I have taken some cuttings as I thought that would be a little bit easier than transferring the mother plant. It's great to know they do really well that way. Thank you for the advice 😊. What humidity do you have yours at? Or is it enclosed?
@@PlantsofJoy If it’s got a good root system it should be fine to transfer even if it’s frazzled looking since the rhizome is what counts. But it’s always good to have a few insurance cuttings of course. I’ve got mine in regular ambient humidity. I’ve found that begonias with thicker leaves and harrier stems tend to be a lot more tolerant of lower humidity. It even did well in the winter without a humidifier.
@@aniliname oooh this is promising. I feel like most begonias frazzle and wilt when they enter my home anyway, so it'll probably turn itself around if it accepts ambient conditions 🤞🤞🤞. Thanks for the advice 😊
The glow on your face when you opened the box! Lol! Thanks for sharing! Beautiful plants❤️
