Good job! Can I ask you what is the power of this Kubota? Do you have other videos while doing this kind of work with Kubota? Can I ask you why you also felled the plant on the right, which was beautiful and robust?
This Kubota L39 is 39hp. I do have some other videos of me using this Kubota to knock down trees and clear some of my property. I will be making more videos in the future as I get time.
This property had 2 old houses that I tore down. It has random trees and bushes scattered around it. Many large trees on the back of my land will stay. Most of the small trees and random plants will be removed to make room for something better. I am clearing off my property to replant trees, bushes, and other plants in an organized and beautiful way. We just built a house on this land 1 year ago.
@@BrantleyBlended Thanks for your answer. This Kubota is very strong, he has no difficulty in uprooting the big tree. Have the two buildings ever knocked them down with Kubota? From a mechanical point of view, is the Kubota original, or have you upgraded it, making changes to the engine or hydraulic pump? Out of curiosity, how much does Kubota weigh? This Kubota L39 belongs to my brother and is all original as far as we know. It weighs about 7,000 lbs. It does have a lot of power for a smaller machine.
I’m trying to decide between used Kubota L45 or John Deere 110 backhoes. Any thoughts?
I don’t have any experience with John Deere. This Kubota L39 belongs to my brother. It has been awesome to use. I have been surprised by the lift capacity and the breakout force on the backhoe. The L45 has more horsepower so I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
Hello. I have two questions. What do you think of the L39? Is it a GST. I have a B7510 w/ a hydrostatic transmission and would like to upsize my tractor but I've found used L39s with only GST. What do you think of GST ? I am very hesitant to switch. Also what's the font at the beginning of your video where you say "Brantley Blended". I like it. Thanks.
The font is called american typewriter.
This 2005 L39 is owned by my brother. It is a GST. I love the tractor. It's heavy enough and powerful enough to get a lot of work done. I'm surprised by some of the trees and stumps it can knock over or dig out of the ground. This tractor has around 1700 hrs on it. I think it was abused before he got it but the GST still works great. He hasn't had any problems out of it so far. I have only used this tractor as a backhoe, knocking down trees, or digging and moving dirt around. The GST is great for that. You can go from forward to reverse quick or go through the gears on the fly to get moving quick. I think if I was plowing or mowing a field I would prefer a HST where you can put it in a gear and cruise along.
