I think the Maggie or the Rex is my favorite pistol skins in Bl2. The Maggie looks so clean with the white, black, and pink, but the Gold on the rex looks pretty sick too.

You should try the Greed Jolts. Since beating the "Treasure of the Sands... Again " allows you to be swallowed by the leviathan anytime you go to the light in wurmwater. For some reason, Scarlett spawns again and drops it everytime, letting you save quit farm for her gun. The Greed is pretty cool, with its unaltered ads speed and being a fire Jakobs

nerdge: joltz did you know that statistically having bad luck is reached way before the 980th run? on run 700 you already had more than 50% chance of having gotten the Maggie. To do this you have to do 979/980 (because those are the ods of not getting the perfect maggie in a run) and then to the power of X (being X the numver of runs you are calculating your ods before start) so if you do 979/980 to the power of 980 thats like around 35% iirc, which means that you have 35% chance of not having gotten the Maggie by that run which means your chances of getting ot were 65% by run 980 this is because ods 1/980 mean that is expected that you get 1 perfect Maggie in 980 tries but that doesn't mean you are getting it on the last try.
Crazy how rare legendaries were in Bl2 because my first one was the volcano from the Warrior which is a guaranteed legendary. Usually I hear people say their first was the hornet or from the previous story bosses. Edit: meanwhile on Bl3 on my first playthrough I had 3 of the Doom shotgun drop so yeah it was game breaking and made the game very easy.
Legendaries are a 1 in 10 drop in BL2, so it's statistically pretty rare to make it to the warrior without one (even without any sidequests the main story requires a good amount of dedicated drop sources). That said, It took me multiple full playthroughs (including the warrior) to see my first legendary thanks to the non-legendary items in the warrior's dedicated lootpool and the tendency for legendaries to be thrown out of the map before you even know they've dropped. It certainly feels like substantially lower than 1/10 in game, especially considering the time it takes to actually *get* to the drop source for most items. I do wish we had BL3's loot indicators, I would love to know how many I missed in my playthroughs because of clipping or OOB issues and how much of it was just genuine bad luck.
@@Kandall05161 part of it was because I was new to borderlands so I played it like it was Fallout so I didn't do farming at all. Nowadays every playthrough I do I get more than 20 legendaries during the storyline as I always do the snowman and midget farm.
the Maggie is definitely my favorite borderlands 2 legendary Jakobs pistols are one of the only gun types that didn't feel like a downgrade from borderlands 1s guns so the Maggie will always be one of my favorite video game guns.
My vote's for the conference call- my fav legendaylry shotgun :D idk if thats a hard one, but i suppose you could also look out for perfect impalers, leeches, and volcanoes too!
Fabled Tortoise was my first thought for a farm suggestion, mostly because it was the first legendary I got in BL2 (on my first kill of Blue as well). Should be a pretty fast farm too, only slowed down by the distance you have to cross but I'm also hoping Fleet, Shield Glitch Maya is the fastest option for this farm since that is also the character I got it on. But totally chill if not.
Maybe if possible you can see if you can "theme" it? Like lets say Bandit Kreig ended, in a celebration of the runs that was had, we can go farm ourselves a Baddaboom, or Slagga

As in, how do you know if a gun is perfect, how do you know where you'll find it, how do you identify the different parts of the gun and go, "oh, this isn't good it decreases fire rate", how do you even know if the gun exists? Sorry to ask so many questions, I wanted to try this stuff out since it looks fun, usually when I play a Borderlands game, i just play, finish the story then that's that. As in, how do you know if a gun is perfect, how do you know where you'll find it, how do you identify the different parts of the gun and go, "oh, this isn't good it decreases fire rate", how do you even know if the gun exists? Sorry to ask so many questions, I wanted to try this stuff out since it looks fun, usually when I play a Borderlands game, i just play, finish the story then that's that.
