Green Mind - Christ Oil (Official Music Video)

I stumbled upon an incredible book called Book of Wisdom (Volume 1) by Harry B. Joseph. After reading only 2 pages, I felt that a song was brewing. Most of the lyrics for this song come from page 2 of this book, under a section titled “Oil Process.” At the end of the video, you’ll even find the text from that part of the book.
This is my first attempt at creating a song inspired directly by a book. The style could be described as psychedelic rock with a touch of stoner vibes. When I recorded the vocals, I was literally reading straight from the book as I sang.
If you’re curious, I highly recommend checking out the book yourself. Maybe with this song and the book’s insights, you’ll find a way to explain the whole “born again” idea in a way that makes sense-for both kids and adults alike!
