- This jar spell is to help manifest good luck within your life. Whether you want luck in finding a job, prosperity in financial matters or just want an extra boost of luck within your life in general, this jar can help.
Ingredients
Salt
Rice
Crush Bay Leaves (with intention)
Rope
Seal with green or white wax
Feel free to use as many of these ingredients or as few as you like; substitute items, replace them, and add your own! Let me know how it goes.

I don’t have anything to cleanse with or to put it in, and I’m also doing this for a friend, is there anyway it could work for a friend?
use the moon energy (new moon) to cleanse by siting it out OR use your breath. Most don't suggest this, but your breath is a part of you, an energetic being.
By breathing your intentions into the bottle is more powerful than the tools to cleanse.
Sit with youself, holding the jar. Visualize your intent...what "good luck" would look like for your friend...the feeling.
Slowly breath into the jar putting your intentions behind each breath.
Then add your items inside and seal.

Sure, I'll pull things that most people have around the house and create a few.
Remember it's whatever YOUR intention is. You don't have to follow anything to a tee.
Be creative, walk outside your house for potential herbs. Use a rock and color it green.lol...

Can you do a good luck spell for me
The energy is far greater if you create a spell yourself. I am not any more "powerful" than you. It is the intention behind the act.
What does "good luck" mean to you? Then identify herbs and crystals that align with that. Write your affirmation, then put everything in a jar. Bam...your own spell to put in your grimoire.

The rope can have two meanings. In this tense it represents binding good luck to me.
Rope can also mean safety...like a life line.

what ever you feel. There is no set rules, this is all about using your intuition. If you struggle with that, spell jars is not what you should be making, but starting with learning how to tap into your0 intuition. I know it's hard and takes a long time to practice, but you'll get it. I hope this answers your question.
What can you use to seal a spell bottle as an alternative to wax? I’m a minor and in the broom closet, and my family doesn’t want me burning candles without supervision. Would hot glue still work? Any advice?

What jar size do you use? How many ml?
I don't want too small/big ones
Size does not matter. If you are going to wear it, something small that is wearable. If it's going onto an alter, the size doesn't matter, it's the intention. Remember, don't get catch up in the little things. use what you got and it'll work just fine.
can i use any type of leaves?
you can use any leaves that resonate with you. it's about correspondence. what leaves or herbs do YOU connect to good luck and use those.

Since the bay leaves are used for setting intentions, you can use a piece of paper, write your intentions, then roll it up to place in the jar.
Can I use rosemary as an alternative? I don't have any bay leaves right now ;w;
I would suggest basil, but if you only have rosemary then use that. Has you hold the rosemary, place your intentions on the herb before you use in the spell jar.

Yes, plant your intentions as you create this jar. Sit the jar in a place you will see it everyday. visualize every day about your better grades. you have to be consistent. do this for a semester and see what happens.

Do you have to cleanse I'm a new witch and I don't have insense
You dont have to use incense to cleanse! Here's some other methods:
Sound Cleanse: Make some noise! Ring a bell, clap your hands, or even play music with the intent that the soundwaves knock the negative energy out of your space! Visualize the negative energy being shoved out like a shockwave for every noise you make, if that helps.
Water Cleanse: Rinse an object/yourself off or flick water on yourself/an object/your space. Imagine the negative energy dissolving in the water.
Crystals: Shungite, Clear Quartz, and Selenite are all good for cleansing. Shungite especially converts the negative energy into positive energy! You will have to cleanse your crystals as well, so keep that in mind!
Salt Bath: This can scratch some surfaces so be careful! Just fill a plate with salt and leave some room in the middle for you to put your object. You dont have to cover it all the way, even having it stuck in the surface of the salt is okay!
Sweep Cleanse: As you sweep your floors, visualize yourself sweeping up the negative energy from around your space as well. Make sure you throw it out outside, don't use your indoor trash since that negative energy can come back sooner.

Also to answer your question: Cleansing before spells is a necessity. It ensures that the energy that's put into your spells is the only energy that's gonna work for your spells. Casting in a room with negative energy can cause that negative energy (or just general energy that's not intended to work for you) can cause complications in your spells and you can have more failed spells than you would if it was just you and your energy being put into the spell
you can also cleanse with candles or matches

Well that depends on the person and how they use spell jars, your intentions. Often things don't work is because we have inner issues we need to work out first. We get in our own way so often that it blocks "the magick" to happen. so to speak.
