Regarding the twist, I think they do give some clues that Forbes is actually his sister! They keep using the lighting (red, if I remember correctly?) to show who is actually in the body we're seeing; and we see this done all the characters EXCEPT Forbes. And I also think the characters have to be kinda 2-dimensional archetypes to make it easier to follow who's who, and to make it possible for the actors to play so many different characters
I really enjoyed this movie! I thought the cinematography was so fun, especially the flashbacks being told through black and white Polaroids, but changing depending on who's telling the story. And I thought it would be super hard to follow who's who, but then found it surprisingly easy to keep up with.
I totally agree about the cinematography as well. It was really fun. And I do think it elevated the vibe of the whole movie. Thanks so much for watching and commenting on my video!!!
Two thirds of downsizing is amazing, the last third where they change the theme and the awful romance they force on Paul and Ngoc! Terrible. Maybe I'll make a video on it so we can chat about it! Thanks so much for watching this one and commenting!!
Great video! In addition to them never showing Forbes under the red light, when he's writing the "map" for the machine, he writes everyone's initials and for himself you can see he started to write "B" then changed it to "F"
Great video. 10/10. I am not bias.

Oh my gosh, if that's the case about Forbes I totally missed that!!! I'll have to watch it again.

Dude Downsizing is amazing! What a concept and I loved it. I was late on the train and didn’t watch it until 2020ish.
