I continue to watch your channel Dave because you are real. I end up unsubscribing to those who continually ride abroad because lucky them for most we can’t. On the TH-cam side of things, I’m so glad you’ve called it out for what it is. At Stone Circle last weekend, there were some YTers and Influencers. They are most definitely an odd bunch. One was particularly sound and another was a bit creepy 😂

Well done mate... doing some good and still trying to fit in some vids around it... love the fact that you don't get caught up in the whole influencing thing as well, it's so much BS!
Went on a 67 mile bike ride yesterday ( well 50.82 miles than and then 16.78 after almost getting stuck and having to do an unintentional first century) but on my way from my house for the long ride.
I rode through Marin since I was going to San Francisco. Due to where I live and the fact there’s one current way into SF. Thus why I rode through Marin. ( can ride on the bay bridge such as the gold gate which is the way I went but it’s slightly different on how far you can go ).
Hope you’re able to balance out the fostering and videos.

Great video Dave you need to do what you need to do your a great dad to one your be a better dad to two, one of my grandkids are going to be adopted (there’s nothing I can do about it either) if there new mum,dad are as nice as you I will be very happy for him, yes we will miss the craziness of your great video but do what your heart says.
Thing is, people get caught up in this "TH-cam" business. And yes I get that it can be beneficial to some. Freebies, attention, invites to launches etc, and the list goes on.
Sometimes, occasionally, real life gets in the way. I applaud your decision to take a step back and realise, that every now and then, it's the things that happen off screen that really matter. Good luck in the future and I sincerely hope everything goes well for you 👊

Have you considered being a youth worker too?
I say this because, should fostering not turn out positively (which I hope it will mind you!), you have a really good ethos and strong beliefs and values; I'm a SEND teacher, I also work with young people with challenging SEMH needs, you would make a great role model.
It would keep your channel going too, could have "Dave's Garage" and have the kids fixing bikes and demonstrating how to do it... And also, you'll be like Fagin from Oliver Twist 😂 haha.
