YOU ARE AWESOME!!! I love the girl power! (And I'm a man) I admire your creative ability to build your own Pochade painting box, and I must say it looks better than most we see in stores! You did terrific! I would of have given up half way through.. patience is a virtue and I applaud your persistance to push through! Thats the ingredient missng in most mans manual books. You are the Best! I love your porchat box, and I'm also an automotive mechanic. You went far an beyond and can also even promote a new protottpe to the art manufactures. Congrats! I love it. Perfect slide tables also! Everythinf you did is top notch! I know your hubby is a lucky man. : )
Thanks! The magnets are a great idea. I work in oils and the magnets could probably be a simple way to stack wet boards in side the box lid. I'll give that a try.
I think this is a great design. I doubt you can find something so straight forward yet effective in supply shops. Besides it's very cool of you to say so modestly "it's the girly thing to do". I'd love my both daughters to see this video.
Great Ideas! I've been customizing a small box I got from Michaels for a while now. It has a very thin bottom and not sure how the attachment for the tripod is going to work out. LOVE the idea of the two shelves on either side! Great invention!!!
I toyed with the idea of trying to make one ,but as "Dirty Harry said, A man's got to know his limitations". When it gets here I'll start to work on adapting a pochade box to it.@@mywithallmyart
Thank you. I just acquired a vintage-ish tripod that was used for one of the hold on your shoulder, heavy, old school video camera. Its very sturdy. That's what I will be using now.
I think I solved my tripod wobble. My mom gave me her tripod (old school). It is a very sturdy one that was used for a VHS video camera. The tripod is not very heavy but the top where the camera connects is heavy duty. Problem solved, no wobble.
Yes, it was shaking. But once everything was in place. It was stable. I had to adjust the direction of the area that holds the adapter. There is a hinge on one side and I turned it so the weight was balanced over the hinge.
You’re smarter than the pro people that make these boxes! You have great ideas! Best video on utube for making these boxes!
Well, thank you so much!!! I appreciate your feedback.

Thanks! The magnets are a great idea. I work in oils and the magnets could probably be a simple way to stack wet boards in side the box lid. I'll give that a try.

Nice video ❤️
Thank you
That carry strap is pure genius. I love the overall concept. I have mine in the works, but finding a tri pod is like pulling teeth.
I am glad you are working on one. I found an old fashioned big video camera tripod at a thrift store. It is much more stable.
@@mywithallmyart I have been to every thrift store in a 20 mile radius and nothing to show. I ordered a tripod off e bay, but I am making my own box.
@@garyanderson2720 I am glad you found one on ebay! I hope this works out for you!!!

I would say use a friction hinges from Amazon at any angle. They are strong and work out well.
Good suggestion. Thanks
Well Done
Thank you
using magnets is a brilliant idea!
Cool! Glad you liked it!
👍👍👍
Thanks for watching
Good job nice problem solving. The wobble on the tripod would probably require some rethinking to make it stable

Mam your Painting Box is shaking , that is problem in my tripod also.
Yes, it was shaking. But once everything was in place. It was stable. I had to adjust the direction of the area that holds the adapter. There is a hinge on one side and I turned it so the weight was balanced over the hinge.
I had the same problem. I used to bungee cords one on the front and one on the back and attached it to the tripod
What size is your box?
14 inches X 12 inches x 2 inches. AND it won't be long until WalMart will have them out for Christmas.
