Thank You for mentioning tightening the truck mounting screws to reduce wobble. I forgot to do that on all my covered Menards Hoppers. I will have to do that today. Thanks for that advice.🙏🙏🙏🔥👍
Nice review, Uncle Salty! It is good to see that Menards is upgrading their trucks and couplers. Glad to see you received some Coreyt1976 stickers, very nice indeed! Bill B.
Awesome stickers from Corey!! Cool to see the Vette and Chevelle! 😉 and great overview on the Menards cars! I highly agree, they make something for everyone at reasonable prices. I def have one or two with the coupler issues and wobbles, but I’m ok with that, as the variety is what I’m looking for. I might have to get one of those lighted hoppers now!!
Thank You so much for the shout out! Love your video and the information you shared. You are always truthful and totally down to earth with your advice and opinions. Can’t wait to see what you post next. AWESOME JOB!!👍🔥🙏💪❤️🇺🇸
Nice Corvette and Chevelle. My first interest is Corvettes then Lionel post war trains. Working on my cars is preferred but working, rebuilding, modifying lionel trains is easier at my age. So nice weather cars, bad weather trains. Today is nice so it’s 67 Corvette getting attention.
Another difference with the post war wheels, the wheels actually spun independently on the axle from one another, which was a kind of differential effect on turns.. The Menards doesn't have the fast angle, and both wheels are fixed to the axle.
Menards hoppers sure have good detail on them. Though I don’t think handbrakes on both sides of the car is prototypical Matt. Did you know John Menard approached Bill Benson on advice for getting into the model railroad business?
That's cool that Menards improved the truck, I would love to have some of those hoppers.
@@joeystrains.9316 Would definitely recommend....
Nice review Matt! Welcome to the sticker club!

@@RABSTRAINS You can add washers as well, like Mark's Lionel Trains did to the auto carriers

@@PhilBender612 I have a Williams scale GG1 that has wheels that differentiate. Guess that's why it's rated for O42?
