Absolutely fabulous! Jim is to be commended for having a specific vision and seeing it through to its completion. He's a wise man by realizing his shortcomings in completing the vision, so he sought out Richard and Elaine. Their collaboration put the finishing touches on this masterpiece. This was a fun video to watch and it gave me a few ideas for my new layout. Congrats to all involved and thanks to OGRM for bringing it to us.
That's a beautiful layout that reminds me of the late John Allen of HO fame. The bridges and floor-to-ceiling scenery look really nice. His weathering is spot on too.
I really enjoy watching this video. Unfortunately I never got to see Jim's layout but was fortunate enough to get some of his equipment after his passing. I have gotten to know Richard and consulted with him on a few things over the years. Thanks for posting this.
Oh the irony. I'm finally retired and can get back into model trains. Unfortunately I'm old and need to work with o scale and can't afford it now that I'm retired. Fml.
The engine at the 2 minute 27 second mark has an adorable whistle
This is a masterpiece. Beautiful trains and fantastic scenery. The light weathering adds a lot of realism.
Love the layout. Detail is 2nd to none.

Nice bridges.
Were those small pipes above the smokestacks at 4:11 an automated smoke fluid filler?
I was wondering the same thing since I saw copper tubing
You have a TH-cam channel
Jim unfortunately passed away several years ago. I don't believe he had a TH-cam page.
