This song is awesome and the video can't be better. So sad, so full of fun... all at once! The surprisingly long shot of them seated in a chair - in my opinion, the best one in all history of musical clips - is the pure image of the resignation, the acceptance of the facts, while the music, full of rhythm, doesn't stop: We are all getting old! All mixed together, instead of depressing me, makes me feel happy, optimistic, to love the live. Telex were (are) great, too great.
Yes. But he was part of creating something that won't be getting old. That weighs up for him leaving this planet prematurely. Rest in Peace... and synth beats.
Played the Sire U.S. release of Neurovison for weeks in 1981. Liked subsequent releases and their work with Sparks is keen, but this one is very cohesive - like a concept album without a real concept (read Sgt.Pepper)
Telex was a really hit-and-miss band. They had some really brilliant songs (like this one) and they made some really awful stuff, too. Thanks for posting this!
Funny, I always thought Dan Lacksman, Junior Campbell and Donald "Duck" Dunn (without his beard, of course) in a supergroup would have been fun. So can anybody suggest a drummer? Must look like a mixture of all three...
who said electronic music has to be serious, self-conscient and empty...? look at this! this is the opposite! marc moulin and you guys from telex you are dearly missed! we need some alternative! :)
Absolutely. It is my view that pretty much all the great recording artists throughout the last 60 or so years have had a sense of humour. Of course there are plenty of respected recording artists that don't utilise humour, but I'm not remotely interested in any of them. :)
My dream has been fulfilled! On the road again! Well..it´s a terrific CD! But my absolutely favourite is "Neurovision" +"Wonderful world"..much better than the new one..
Who is who. Which one is the one with mustache and beard, which one is the one with mustache, which one is the one with no mustache or beard. Which one is Dan Laksman, which one is Marc Boulon, which one is Michael Moers.
クラシックだ 名曲 。♫♪
My Timeも素晴らしい
Sadly enough, Marc Moulin will never get very old anymore ... Indeed RIP :-(
He’s gonna stay forever young though
Best birthday... song ... ... ever

I JUST turned 55, and THERE IS NO ESCAPING THE INEVITABLE!!!!

R U stilll alive? 61? Aw...I'm 59. You don't have to answer if you're dead.
So cool, great belgian electronic band.
Incredibly underrated artists! I keep finding out new songs they made that really blow my mind. Still my favorite one is 'Wonderful World'.
1980 and it sounds like later decade.
TELEX, YMO, Rockets, Kraftwerk - forever!!!!!
They look so handsome I love it
I feel that this song can only get better as time passes and proves their point. Such a great tune.

I have a dream,,TELEX united for a new cd-album =;o)) oh..I miss the good old days 1980--1986..
They are working on a new album ;) if you might read this 13 years later.

Telex is by far my favorite band. I love every album, song and video (the few there are)

They like, made the music of 2010, in 1980!
Another great Telex track. Thanks for posting!
Una de las mejores bandas de la historia. Absolutamente subvaluadas e incomprendidas. Enormemente brillantes
Es una banda musical belga conformada por profesores universitarios.
an Old Gold
this is really good, sums all the last two decades in (good) electro music in one video
My dream has been fulfilled! On the road again! Well..it´s a terrific CD! But my absolutely favourite is "Neurovision" +"Wonderful world"..much better than the new one..
2:12... Awesome!!!
Telex was way ahead of their time
I think backward would be a more accurate description. Certainly unsophisticated, bland and not doing much today.
Because they're all dead.
No, they are still alive!

I love Telex and this is some serious business on the video work woah easy Belgium
Lots of love from London XXX
Thank oh God for the synthesizer+vocoder :o)
#LOL Hehehe I don't know why but I think that Marc looks like Tintin (remember Hergé's character?) in this video.
Let's make this become a hit in 2021 please 😹💕
I wish it would one day.
THIS IS GOLD
IT IS !
Terrific! I can't believe they weren't HUGE...
I guess the public wasn't ready for the truth.
They are...In our hearts. Only the privileged :)
We really are all getting old.
Better than the alternative, as Mr. Moustache the smoker may find out...
Brilliant!
Great song
Fantastic
I'm 43 and my friend told me that I defied time ! I don't know !
Getting a BIT older DOESN'T MEAN that we aren't PHYSICALLY STRONG anymore. I am 42 year old big dude and as strong as an ox. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
C'est fou ce que Dan Lacksman ressemblait à Midge Ure
Yay, we are all getting old!
i love it.
cool

1:49. From left to right Mark Moulin, Michele Miere, Dan Laksman.
Bearded Michel Moers, just moustache Dan Lacksman and Marc Moulin RIP
Marc Moulin, not Marc Boulon. RIP Marc.
I love the way how their timing is intentionally bad. It looks like the video is made out of outtakes lol.
not so old since they didn't learn how to tie a tie
54
Hilarious. James w
they did one 2006.
Classic.

😂
Lovelys belgiuns
Fuck I’m getting old… (pulls out the Roland)
Chill I'm only 16
These geeks are all millionaires today.
