Porn is a real danger that many people don’t understand. I was addicted to porn all through out high school and it ruined my relationships. It wasn’t until I started talking to a friend and then eventually telling my partner that I was able to stop. Things like this are very hard to deal with as it is a drug and is very easily accessible. I’m proud of you Larry for reaching out and acknowledging this, it’ll only help. Porn is a real danger that many people don’t understand. I was addicted to porn all through out high school and it ruined my relationships. It wasn’t until I started talking to a friend and then eventually telling my partner that I was able to stop. Things like this are very hard to deal with as it is a drug and is very easily accessible. I’m proud of you Larry for reaching out and acknowledging this, it’ll only help. And to everyone else struggling, it gets better!!!! My life is great now and I’m thankful for this journey as it’s taught me how to control myself and I’m finally beginning to be happy with myself again! Fast forward, I’ve come clean to my partner, cut that shit out, and gone through a fuck ton of therapy to deal with a lot of issues I have. I ended up being diagnosed with depression and even became suicidal at one point, but I came out stronger and happier , and I feel clean. Hope you are well my man, cheers to the future.

You are not alone....it is brain rewiring...i have done it....it is a slow process,not cold turkey....never will be,but a process of slowing down and focusing your mind on doing positive things...cleaning the home,working out,spending more time with family...find things that need working on then begin to change your way of spending your thoughts on porn into positive activities. It makes conversing with the sex of your preference WAYYY easier too. You start to lose your stupid intrusive thoughts, and youre way more easily able to just be honest and open about your thoughts, feelings, and desires. I accidentally relapsed a couple days ago but Im trying to recover. I feel so fucking good without it.
