It shouldn't if you keep it in a protected environment like away from humidity and UV light especially. It says it's no different to ink printed pictures. If you left it in the sun it would definitely fade it. So you should be fine.
if you want to keep it for like decades, you'll want something with dye sublimation, but it uses toner cartridges which is a bit wasteful, but nothing is perfect
@@piotrgraniszewski8544 I don't know why you need water resistance for photos, but that's not possible because the print are thermal, that's means no humidity. For me quality is good enough, colours are really different, but that's ok too
@@pandiart If you spill anything on it, the photo is toast. But the main downside is the awful digital banding. There is not enough bit-depth to represent tonal transitions properly. This printer is especially bad for abstract photos.

Very low res and pixelated. And the colors are off. There is also no water resistance.
