Is this a true ECG like can this show ST elevation or depression? Also which 3 leads does it show, is it I, II, III? Are you able to to change the default lead on screen? For example if I wanted lead II and not I?

You can't interpret a STEMI from a 3 lead, you'll need a full 13. This is only good for a quick glance at rate, regularity and to be able to confirm mechanical activity with electrical conduction of the heart.

Since the three existing pads are all that is necessary to obtain aVR/ aVL/ aVF, is there a consideration to calculate/ display these also at some point in the app?

Great question @r2db and our product team sees the value in your request. A challenge we would have is we don't know the orientation and position of our product relative to the heart and as a result, don't know the relationship between our three electrodes and these standard locations from a 12-lead ekg.

@@Ekohealth If the device is being used as shown (with the earpiece tubing down towards the feet) then the orientation is known. If a licensed professional cannot follow instructions to properly orient the device for the EKG function that should not be your concern but rather the licensing board's concern. The current 3-lead display appears to already presume standard orientation.

@@Ekohealth If you are using something like the Analog ADAS1000 then it already has the capability to do all of the limb leads with one device, or a full 12-lead with two (not realistic for this form factor).

Prob not because it doesn’t work well on a human hairy patients ☹️. But it will if you shave them and place the leads on the bare skin.
