Tanks for the tips I have almost the same problem 2 years after rebuilding and my transmission is not engaging when hot I change the oil filter and put the output shaft sensor because it shows code 0720 and still drive like enough the get heat and if is taken out of drive and try to go is not engaged is like slips revers is good in some times if (D) don’t work I put the selector in L1 and rev the engine it will engage some times I need to wait for it to cool down or get cold water on the oil cooler to acelérate cooling after is cool down it gets going no problem it can be 2 hours driving but if is taken out of drive I need to wait again I have started to tink is my TCM on my Nissan Sentra 2002 gxe 1.8 automatic 😢 any clue is appreciated is my only car at the moment I am the only owner since new .nice Chanel nice video it helps people 💪🏾👍🏽god bless 🙏🏾
@@maxmax9722 You may have multiple problems, the engagement issue is probably mechanical in nature
My valve body recently gave out on a drive home in my 370z (I had about 6 miles left) and I drove it the 6 miles in limp mode (wouldn't go past 2nd) at 35MPH. The codes thrown when i got back and scanned were P0720 and P2731, which is how I know it is the valve body. Do you think the dealer will be able to tell if my transmission is still feasible after taking out the old valve body and before installing the new one? The part is the same price as a new transmission but I want to avoid the extra labor that comes with a complete assembly replacement.
@@benderbendingrodriguez6697 it’s probably fine
Love the video my 2010 g37 has no codes but after 100miles and I give it power it throws it self into neutral then hard shifts on up shift value body was done when I got the car gonna just vr trans swap any idea what would cause that?
New valve body from the dealer has different part number and suppression codes and pricing although they all say they fit my 2015 q40 rwd. They should all work correct? Which ever I end up getting?
It’s not going to work correctly unless you get the right part, part numbers are sometimes different because the old part was superseded.
P0500 and P0720 came up going to try swapping out valve bodies to see if it fixes the issue, only 38,000 miles before this happened
With proper maintenance, can rhis be prevented? I have 108000 with transmission fluid change every 40k. (2 so far) the tech where I took it says transmission is bad and is going to charge for the valve body they put in to TRY to fix the issue of not shifting passed 3 rd gear.
Idk, which one is it? The valve body or the transmission
You should probably take it somewhere competent for diagnosis
And
Maintenance really has nothing to do with why certain problems occur
2010 nissan 370z. P1705 p0731 p0732 p0615. Any suggestions?
A nissan mechanic said it was valve body failure.
Also my brake lights are stuck on.
Will a Valvebody from a 370z work in my 2014 q60
I only recommend swapping exact for exact in these cars
@@iptperformancetrans alright thanks
Transmission slipping , clutches are bad?
That’s usually how it goes
